1 week later:

A lot can happen in one week. More than you realize. One minute everything can go crashing down, to become the most perfect things ever. You can worry about so much stuff and then not have to worry about anything. Marshal hasn't sent anymore threatening texts, and Tyler is actually became a pretty good friend of mine. I still won't talk to Beth, even though she's been trying to talk to me. I can't talk to her after all this. I mean yes it's stupid to keep this grudge on her, but she's done wrong to me so many times. Ryder and I are still friends, but we have gotten closer. Mason is still my best friend, even though I haven't seen much of him for three days. He got a new girlfriend, and he's been spending a lot of time with her. I think it's cute actually. Colton ended up moving a few hours away. Chloe told his and her parents about this whole Marshal thing, so they were forced to move.

"Hello?" I answered my phone after hearing the weird ringtone I set for it.

"Hey." I heard his familiar voice.

"Oh, hey Ryder."

"Tonight's the night. Are you ready?" He asked.

"Elaborate. I'm confused." I really am confused.

"The dance. I send a dress in a box about two weeks ago."

"That was you?" That makes more sense now.

"Yeah. I hope you like the dress." I could tell in Ryder's voice that he was really scared I don't like it. But I do. It's really pretty.

"I actually love it. It's really pretty, thank you." I smiled, then mentally slapped myself because he can't see me.

"I know your smiling." He said.

"How do you know?" I laughed.

"Because your Casey."

"What's that suppose to mean?" I laughed again.

"Nothing." He chuckled. "Well I have to go, I'll see you later tonight. I'll pick you up at seven?"

"Okay."

We said our goodbyes, and the line went dead. Even though we are just friends, I feel like we are still together. But he's going to ask me back out soon, hopefully tonight in that matter. Ryder is just that type of person who couldn't stay away from me for long.

I'm surprised he's gone a week and hasn't asked me back out.

I laid back down onto my bed.

My bed room door slammed open, and in walked Mason.

"Um. Mason? Why are you here?" I asked confused looking.

"I'm here," he opened his arms up to my door like he's about to present something. "with my sister!"

At that, Mason's sister walked in. I think she's older than him. But not by much if so.

"Casey meet Brianna. Brianna, meet Casey." We exchanged a hi to one another, Before letting mason continue with why she's here.

"Brianna is here to do your hair and makeup for tonight." Mason said smiling. I looked at Brianna, and raised an eyebrow. Why her?

"See, since you and Beth aren't talking, I figured you want another girl to do it for you, so here you go. Your welcome ." I swear this boy reads my mind all the time.

"I can do my own stuff you know?" I chuckled.

"I know, but I figured you wanted a girl to talk with things about."
