Adult with ambivalent attachment.

That's what Dr. Kaikobad had described James as after only two sessions.

What he described it as was an individual with a preoccupied state of mind. They always put extra details into their stories and often recall past events that caused them hurt and were not resolved. They have parents who were sometimes warm and available then quickly switched to be cold and rejective. They're up and down in relationships. Sometimes they're available and other times they're closed off. They depend on their partners to keep the family going. And they almost always need a grounded partner to keep them in check.

I don't know if it's just me, but that sounds like James down to a tee.

After I discovered what James had been doing behind closed doors, I immediately searched for the best therapist that specialized in helping people with attachment issues. So when I heard about Dr. Kaikobad, who had thirty years of experience and so many specializations that I lost count, I contacted him and tried to set an appointment.

He was down here in Miami on a sabbatical and, at first, denied to see James due to the fact that he technically wasn't working. But when I told him some of the details about the situation, he was so intrigued that he agreed to see James the very next day.

On the way to the appointment, James spent the whole drive fretting. He was worried that talking to somebody about his issues would make them judge him and then publicize them. For the rest of the ride, I had to explain to him a certain thing called doctor-patient confidentiality, which helped to calm him down.

For the duration of James' session with Dr. Kaikobad, I sat out in the lobby waiting. I knew that even though I couldn't be in the room with James, I wanted to be close to him for emotional support.

On the drive back home, James let me know that he wasn't ready to share what they talked about, he didn't like how personal he had to be, and he sure as hell didn't want to go back. But then he sighed and told me that even though he didn't like it at all, he knew he had to do it for Josie, me, and the rest of his family.

That was eight weeks ago and James has still been going to his therapy sessions. They were an hour and a half twice a week so he didn't complain too much about it.

James starting therapy wasn't the only big thing that had happened recently.

I'm sure you all remember our favorite fugitives, Isabella, Corina, Julianna, and Dontae, right?

Well, Julianna was the first to be caught. They found her Texas using an 'alias' - Juli Menteur. When she arrested, she was yelling that the police had no right to hold her because she was wanted in America and Texas was not an American state because it had seceded back in the 1200s.

Personally, I think they should just add extra time to her sentence for being a dumbass, but I don't think that's allowed.

Julianna was quick to snitch on her accomplices without even making a deal first.

Police found Isabella hiding out at her family home in Puerto Rico.

Corina was caught getting on a plane leaving trying to leave Jamaica and get on a plane to Venezuela. She was at least smart enough to use an actual alias - Wally Williams - but was not smart to remember she was actually using an alias and not whip out the passport that had her actual name on it. She was extradited back to Miami soon after.

As for Dontae, none of the others knew his whereabouts. The police think his father has him stashed away somewhere but are not sure and are having trouble finding him.

And on a happier note, Liv had finally accepted Jonathan's proposal.

I'm sure you all remember how James and I were supposed to get married. Well, you can probably tell that didn't happen.

First, I refused to roll down the aisle in my electric wheelchair with both legs and my arm cast up - I'm shallow, I know.

And second, Dr. Kaikobad said it probably wasn't the best time for a wedding since James had just begun treatment for his abandonment and attachment issues.

So instead of canceling the wedding and losing all the money we put into it or postponing and inconveniencing all the guests, I just decided to give the whole thing to Liv.

She and I have similar taste in pretty much everything, so there wasn't much to change. She just put her finishing touches on it and officially made it hers.

So she was no longer Liv Williams, she was now Mrs. Liv Stiller - it sounds messy, I know. She loves it though and refuses to answer to anything other than 'Mrs. Stiller'.

Mister and Mrs. Stiller have been on their honeymoon for the past 3 weeks, touring the Caribbean islands extensively.

To me, Liv and Jonathan prove that relationships can survive if people really love each other. They went through some rough patches, but they still ended up together and they're happy.

And that's the only thing I wish all the people I love can achieve.

Happiness.
