I wiped my tears and made sure it didn't look like I was crying before walking out of the bathroom with Deja following .

Travis walked up

Travis - Baby are you alright ?
I nodded and gave him a faint smile as Deja squeezed my hand , that was behind my back .

I pulled it away from her as Travis started to talk to me

Travis - you sure ? He asked concerned

Me - yes bab - Deja let go of my fucking hand I said playfully but serious as she still held onto it .

Deja smacked her lips

Travis - can we talk after school ?

Me - about what Travis ? I asked annoyed

Travis - just about everything Aaliyah he said as I felt Deja hand slip to my ass .

Travis - I'm worried about you baby
Deja grabbed a handful of my butt and I smacked her hand

Deja - stop acting like you don't like when I feel on your ass she says smirking

I know she's just trying to make me feel better by playing with me .

Travis - Deja do not be touching my girlfriend inappropriately he says sternly

Deja - white boy I don't want her anywayssss she rolls her eyes and me and her let out a laugh .

The bell ring and I tell Travis bye before walking to class with Deja .

I didn't see Travis the rest of the day . And I also didn't respond to the messages he sent me , only because I didn't want to .

When the bell dismissed everyone to go home I grabbed my bag and walked out of the school .

I seen James and Devan talking to Travis by his car and got annoyed .

I walked up quickly

Travis - liy - I ignored him and got in the car slamming the door .

Liyah got in the car and slammed the door . I looked at her and seen her just sitting there .

Me - I will see you guys later I said and got in the car after her . They walked off but I didn't start it to drive off .

Me - Aaliyah

Liyah - what ?

Me - are you okay ?

Liyah - Travis . I'm fuxking fine . Why do yhu keep askin' fam ? Her accent came off really thick

Me - because I care .

Liyah - and I thank yhu fa tha . But I'm good , I jus want my sista .

I nodded and started my to go get Layla .

She hopped in the car smiling

Layla - Hi Liyah , her Travis ! She reached over and hugged me , kissing Liyah .

Liyah - hey ma she said lowly buckle up she demanded and Layla plopped down , doing that .

Layla - sooo were goin' to see mommy right ? She asked .

Liyah was silent

Layla - right ? You said we were after school

Me - yea , we are .
Layla smiled at me and I smiled back .

I drove off and looked to the side at Liyah

Me - what's up ?

Liyah - nun . I guess we can take her to see mama . But do you think she should see her like that ? She asked lowly

Me - I think it'll be fine .

She nodded and looked out the window . I grabbed her hand as I drove

When we pulled up , I parked and we got out .
Layla held both of our hands on the elevator .

When we got to the door Liyah stopped and took a deep breathe

Liyah - you gotta be a big girl fa momma alr ?

Layla nodded , smiling and I opened the door .

Momma was asleep in bed , hooked up to more machines than last time .

Layla - mommy she said sadly as she walked up and tried to look over the bed but she couldn't . So I picked her up and Liyah stood on the side in me holding onto me as we just looked at her .

Layla - what's wrong with mama ? She cried

Liyah - she's sick baby she said sadly

After the hospital , me Liyah and Travis went back to my house .

Liyah fell asleep .
He carried her to my mama room as I laid in my bed , not feeling good at all .

I hate how I've been feeling recently . Bad

He came and quietly laid on my chest , intertwining our fingers .

I rubbed his finger back and fourth as I debated . I need to tell him , I am going to tell him but right now isn't the time .

I kissed his forehead and closed my eyes . They shot back open when I heard my door quickly open

Layla - Liyah .. I'm scared she cried

Me - it's okay mama I said as she climbed into bed besides me .

Layla - Travis she whined

Travis - yes ?

Layla - I want to lay with sissy she pouted and I laughed when he sighed

He moved over and Layla cuddled next to me .
