I looked at him and squinted my eyes at what he was saying .

I got up off the bed , slipped on some sweats with my shoes and started walking towards the door .

Travis - where are you going Love ?

Me - Somewhere . Leaving your crazy ass here .

Travis - what's wrong ?

Me - singing bout how your friends dead and shit .
He laughed

Travis - it's a song

Me - I don't care . Don't sing about that Travis

He got up and wrapped his arms around me laughing

I'm not laughing , they ass really be killing their friends and shit .

Travis - it's just a song ma

He kissed me as he wrapped his arms around my waist .

I unwrapped them from around me and walked towards the bathroom

Travis - you ok Aaliyah ?

I nodded
Me - just give me a minute I smiled at him and shut the door .

I walked to the toilet and bent down , preparing myself to throw up . When I finished my phone beeped and I glanced at it .

It kept flashing with messages

' I miss you sweetytums '

' how have you been ? '

' I hope we can do that again someday '

' why are you ignoring me ? '
I scrunched my face up as I rinsed my mouth

Over these past couple days I been receiving these weird ass text messages .

Me - who the fuck is this ?

I rolled my eyes , I'm not playing with no one's child today .

I came out the bathroom and laid down
Travis - you alr ?

I nodded

He laid next to me and starting kissing my neck . I turned my face and caught his lips in mines

' I hope we can do that again someday ' played in my head along with ' sweet tums ' which made me tense up

Travis - what's wrong ?

Me - nothing . Can you please stop Travis I said he nodded and I scooted away from him .

Travis - did I do something wrong ?

I shook my head no

My phone lit up again and he grabbed it .

Travis - who is this ?

Me - I think it's Devan
I watched him scroll down the messages looking at them all in silence .

He screenshotted them and sent them to his phone .

He got up and put on his nikes

Me - where you going ?

Devan - I'll be back .. his phone beeped and he looked at it . Maria want to see you and Layla too baby

I nodded and with that being said he left .

My door ranged and I opened it to see Deja and Layla

Layla rushed into my arms and I kissed her
Layla - hi

Me - heyy

Deja - hey baby momma I missed you !
She pulled me to her and slick grabbed my ass .

Me - Deja

Deja - when you gone let me taste ? She whispered

Me - Deja leave me alone she laughed before walking into my kitchen .

Me - get the fuck out my kitchen

Deja - shut up

That night everything got cut off . My lights , electric , and hot water . They gave me an extension but I didn't have the money to pay the bills before the extension was over .

Travis walked in and tried to flip on the lights .
Travis - why the lights won't cut on ?

Me - they're off Travis I said sitting at the kitchen table holding a sleep Layla .

Travis - whats that smell ?

Me - all of the food is going bad I frowned

Travis - imma go pay the bill he said grabbing his keys

Me - no Travis

Travis - I refuse to let you and Layla sit in the house like this

Me - I'll figure something out . I'll go try to put something on the bills .

He huffed
Travis - Aaliyah baby let me help you damn .

Me - I don't need help Travis I replied

Travis - I got it . Don't worry

Me - it's to late . Everything's closed .

Travis - well I'll go first thing in the morning . Come on , let's go .

He grabbed Layla from me and we left .

When I stepped into his house memories rushed back to me . I haven't been here in a while .

Maria - hola babé she said hugging me . Her hands instantly made their way to my stomach and she started cooing at my little bump .

I laughed at her as I watched Travis take Layla up the stairs . I talked with her for a little before going up stairs also and falling asleep with Travis .

In the morning Travis paid the bills like he said he would . He ignored everything I had to say about him doing so .

Me - I really appreciate it
I kissed his cheek and he flashed me his pretty smile

Travis - that was nothing .

Me - you don't have to worry about my bills tho , I go in to work today . I don't want to hear it .

Travis - no Aaliyah your pregnant

Me - and ?

Travis - I'll pay the bills . You stay home

Me - I'm not cut like that Travis . I can handle it

Travis - at least let me help ?

Me - fine I said smacking my lips .
