"And the winner of Best British Single, 2012 is..."

Tinie paused as he opened the black envelope with slight hesitation. My stomach abruptly felt as though it had jolted right into my mouth. I felt physically sick.

"One Direction!"

The audience was in sudden uproar as people began flying up from their seats, shooting their glances towards our table where the boys were obviously sat. The grin on my face was priceless and I stood up too in unison with my older sister, Erin. Soon enough, I was jumping around on the spot, not being able to physically contain my emotions. They'd done it. My boys had bagged themselves a Brit Award. It was amazing to think of some of the things they'd achieved in less than two years of being together as a group.

"I'm so fucking proud of you!" I screeched, wrapping my arms around Harry's neck as I made it over to him looking like a mad thing. The other One Direction girlfriends were all here too to offer their support, and were all currently looking just as crazy as me as we bounded around the table hugging each of the boys in turn. Abie, Becky, Chelsea, and Bella were all screeching and clapping their hands in the air, almost losing their sanity. I was unable to calm myself down as the five boys finally broke away from us and piled onto the stage. Their faces were gleaming- Liam even looked as though he was about to burst into tears. I knew how much he had craved for this moment.

Louis was the first to take the microphone as Liam held his hand out for the award, obviously wanting to be the first one to touch it. He looked shocked as he stood holding it in his hands for a second, as if half expecting it to vanish from his so grasp. Niall was quickly behind him though, dragging the Brit from Liam's hands and waving it around the air; this caused further screams and clapping from the left hand side of the audience. I joined in, my bum leaving the chair beneath me as I clapped and squealed in response. I caught Niall's eye and watched him smile directly at me, before turning away to hand the other boys the award.

Louis nodded at Harry as he placed the microphone tightly in his left hand. Gripping it with his palm, he started speaking into it loudly.

"We cannot believe that we are stood here on this stage... I wanna start off by saying, that this award is for the fans. We would be absolutely no where without them, so thank you so much."

Louis turned to Harry again and handed him the long microphone, a glimmer of light from the cameras tinting his bright grey eyes.

"Erm... We just wanna say a massive thank you to the fans. Everything we do is for you and this is yours', so thank you so much... and a massive thank you to Radio One."

I couldn't help but take the time to admire my beautiful best friend as he stood on the stage declaring his acceptance speech with his band members. I was so proud that I felt like his mother, who was sat beside me in total shock. She hadn't said a word to anyone, but sat crying quietly as she watched her boy stand happily beside his best friends as they each said their individual thank yous. It hit me like a tonne of bricks at how much I'd physically missed Harry over the passing months. Hearing his voice was like everything I'd imagined and more.

Liam was the one to continue on with the speech, and I couldn't help but giggle as the boys were now beginning to waffle a little. I didn't fault their speech though, as they probably were just trying to savour the moment. After about two more minutes they stepped off the stage, Zayn now carrying the award in the middle of the line while they wobbled nervously back over to our table.

I greeted Harry with a kind smile and watched as he seated himself close beside me. The heat that was radiating off him was incredible. His cheeks were pink and he looked flustered all of a sudden.

"Are you alright?" I chimed, placing my hand on his below the table.

"Yeah... just... I'm just a bit overwhelmed." he muttered. He soon squeezed my hand and smiled, flashing off his pearly whites that occompanied his dimples perfectly. "I feel a bit sick actually."

"Probably just the nerves." I claimed. I could tell he was nervous by the way he was sitting with his back arched awkwardly in the chair. "Just relax, you won't have to go up there again... not until next year anyway." I winked, chuckling a little at my own remark.

"Yeah you're right."

Harry smiled at me one last time, holding his gaze on my face for a few moments. I watched as his eyes trailed over my icy white skin and dark, glittering blue eyes. His pink lips were parted slightly. Now shaking his head, Harry dragged his hand away and turned his attention to his mum, who was now pulling him into a heart felt cuddle.

Did we just have... a moment?

My eyes were locked on my sister's as she watched me cautiously from across the table with a large drink in her hand. She could tell something was happening, as she raised her left eyebrow at me disapprovingly.

"What?!" I mouthed. I could feel my cheeks beginning to flare up as a picture of Harry's face flashed into my mind.

"He's spoken for. Don't go there, Molly." my sister mouthed back with a smug grin on her lips.
