She took a single step forward, closer to me. Then she giggled, "Kidding."
I sighed and asked, "So, that's all you want to say?"
"Nope," she answered as she stopped giggling, her face and her voice became serious, "I want to tell you that.... I want you to notice me. I want your attention. That's what I told you I knew how she died. That's why I stalked you. I texted you and all." She paused and held my either hands. I felt a bit awkward.
"Chester... I'm in love with you."
And she kissed me, hard.
I did not kiss her back, neither did I pulled myself away. I just let her kiss me.
I felt her arms wrapped around my waist.
I was already liking it. For the first time in forever, I felt what love was. Maybe, it was love. Or maybe, not.
