Ethan's POV:
I closed my locker and of course she was with him. I roll my eyes as I tighten my grip on my back pack.
Ariel and I have been best friends ever since I can remember. She's lived across the street from me my whole life and I've loved her ever since the seventh grade. Something about her makes my heart race but she's with, him.
She's been with Alex for 8 months now so of course she doesn't care how I feel. She just sees me as a friend.

And I know there's tons of books like this but this is my personal take on it. That means that I've developed my own ideas and intend on making this story different than others and I'm in no way trying to copy anyone. :)
