It's dark, and so cold. It's been 3 days, how can you forget someone for that long--
Creak! "Alright now, get your fat ass up here," Sir Joseph 'greeted' me in the doorway. My stomach growled as I scrambled up the steps into the main house. "Okay, now sit down, I have some new rules for you." I gulped in fear. He had Cry hand me a long roll of parchment.

All these rules... were they going to make me a servant in my own house?!
"S-Sir Joseph," I stuttered. "I-I-I'm not sure these are my rules, these are things a slave must do." My hands were shaking so much, I almost dropped the parchment. He just placed a heavy hand on my shoulder and nodded at me.
"These ARE your rules, Mark," he said with a sly smirk. "Now, failure to follow them, and what happened three days ago.. will happen again." My eyes widened and I glanced over toward the boys. I had to bow down to these dickheads? Uh-uh! No way in Hell was that going down!
I guess he must've seen the look on my face because he cleared his throat. Y-Yeah okay, I-I'll bow down to them-- even if they are assholes.
"Haha," Felix laughed. "Hey father, maybe you should have him wear this!" He tossed an old brown sack-lookalike article of clothing to Sir Joseph. The ex-knight caught it and nodded.
"Thank you, Felix," he said. "Now go change, you shit! You've got a hard day ahead of you!" My stepfather snatched up my hat, slapped me on the ass, and I dashed down the hall, to change into the ugly garment with my color-changing secret revealed.
