"I love you." Diego whispers in my ear as he hugs me tightly.
"I love you too, Diego." I tighten my grip around his waist and rest my head on his chest.
I pull away and look him in the eyes, standing by the door with his suitcases sitting next to him.
"You're worried." He says, noticing the look on my face.
"No, I-"
"Baby, I know Im a little bit of an asshole. I promise that I wont do anything to hurt you this time. Ill prove to you that you can trust me, okay?" He tucks my hair behind my ear and smiles slightly.
"Okay." I look down at his shoes.
"You're my forever, baby girl." My eyes shoot up to his because of his words.
The fuck does that mean???
"Im not gonna do any dumb shit to ruin that." He tells me.
I decide to shake off what he said, not jumping to any assumptions.
"I know." I pull him back into a hug. He holds me in his arms for a while.
"Alright," He pulls away and grabs his bags. "Ill text you when I get on my flight and everything. I love you."
He kisses me on the forehead, gently.
"I love you too." He walks out the door and shuts it behind him.
