"I ordered a mocca late." The girl's voice is bitting as she snaps at me. Her tone not at all helping my already horrible mood.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I'll make you another." I say, taking the drink back and walking behind the counter to remake it.

I sigh deeply as I do so. I've already lost count of the number of orders I've messed up today as the minutes tick by at a torturous pace.

"Tough day?" Mike asks.

"Just a lot on my mind." I sigh again.

"Would you like me to take your section?" He asks as I lean against the counter.

I glance at my waiting customers, almost all of them look annoyed. Especially the girl in the back with jet black hair and an outfit to match.

"C'mon. Your section is the busiest right now and you look exhausted. I don't mind." Mike insists, already taking to remade drink from my hand.

I nod and he surprises me by giving me a hug.

"Just man the register." He smiles before adding, "You can handle that, right?"

"I think so. Thanks, Mike." I smile.

He takes the girl her new drink and I sit in the stool next to the cash register for when there isn't a line.

Hannah comes over a little while later. "Why did Mike take your section? Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I just have a lot on my mind and I keep messing up their orders so he offered." I shrug.

"Well, tell me about it. It may help." She smiles and it seems genuine as she makes herself at home on the counter.

I don't tell her how unsanitary that is. "Well there's this guy..."

"Oh, boy." She laughs.

I smile too as I continue, "...and he's super nice and practically perfect in every way humanly possible."

"...and?" She urges me to explain further, waiting for the catch.

"I've only met him less than a month ago and everything is moving so fast." I shake my head. "And I don't know what to do."

"Wait, so it's not like you're madly in love with him but he's married, or he's helplessly insane, you're just being modest." She raised an eyebrow.

"It's more than that." I shake my head. "I'm scared by how much I feel for him already. I don't even really know him."

"Well, maybe I know him. Does he live around here?" She seems only slightly interested as she swings her feet which hang of the counter.

I can't answer her question because a costomer comes up to the counter.

Hannah hops down and I don't have a chance to talk to her for the rest of the day, though I wish I could have.

The sun is sinking behind the trees when I step out the door. I'm pleasantly surprised to find Harry leaning against the brick of the building once again but his expression is hard as he seems to be fighting some kind of inner debate.

I wordlessly approach him and he doesn't raise his gaze from the pavement in front of him, but I know that he knows I'm there.

I lean against the wall next to him before he speaks.
