"So when are we starting" one boy asks
"As soon as I learn your names"
"I'm Corbyn" the "blonde" says
"I'm Jack" the "curly haired" boy says
"I'm Daniel" the one with the crazy blue eyes says
"I'm zach" the last one says
"I'll try my best to remember"
"So are we starting now" jack says
"Um I guess"
"Can you ask your parents if it's fine"
"Oh they won't be home I'm sure it will be fine"
"Oh okay"
"I can drive you guys to my house and we can start if you want" I suggest

They look at each other and then one speaks up

"Sure" Corbyn says

We get to my house and I can already tell these boys want to leave

"Well um this is my house. I should probably tell you this before you go in but there's um 5  boys in their 20s just ignore them and for your own safety and mine just follow me to my room. Just some advice you probably shouldn't talk when you walk by them and just put your head down. Well that's all" I say fake smiling

I hear Daniel gulp in fear as we get out of my car

"Remember just look down and don't say anything for your safety" I say unlocking the door walking in

I quickly shut the door and walk fast up the stairs past the multiple boys downstairs

"Okay im going to quickly get some water for you guys and me and I'll be back." I say smiling shutting my door

I run down my stairs and try to get 5 waters without anyone seeing me

Unfortunately I feel a presence next to me

"Hey loser get in another fight today" my brother Brett says

I don't respond and continue to get the waters

"This is why people are constantly hitting you. You don't talk to anyone and all you do is study"
"Please stop talking to me I'm just trying to get water"
"Brett stop bothering her she's not doing anything" my other brother and my personal favorite Tyler says from a far

Brett walks away and I get the waters and walk back upstairs

"Sorry for the wait" I say smiling handing the waters to each

"So lets start I guess" I say sitting down

Before we start there's a knock at my door

"I'm sorry about that" I say sighing standing up to open the door

I open the door and see Tyler standing there

"Sorry if I was interupting anything" he says noticing the boys
"Oh no you didn't interrupt anything I was just about to start tutoring them but I guess come in."
"Oh well I was just thinking about what Brett was saying downstairs and I just wanted to tell you not to listen to him or anyone. You aren't a loser, studying is good, you don't have to talk to people to have friends, and people only hit you because you don't fight back" he says after walking in my room

"I know I'm just scared that I'll get hurt worse if I fight back" I whisper so the boys don't hear
"You won't I promise. And if someone hurts you I know you will be fine. You've been through a lot and I know that more physical things won't damage you." He says loud enough for the boys to hear

I hear quiet whispers from behind us but I don't think about it

"Now what happened today I see you have a bandaid on your cheek and you have a bruised eye"
"Well I was at my locker and these three girls came up to me that I've seen before but I don't really know (A/N: welcome to the stage Gabbie, Christina, Tate. Hehehehe bringing more real life people. By the way I'm aware Tate is jonahs but Jonah isn't one of the other guys and it's just for the story just go along with it) and one slapped me and she was wearing this weird ring and it cut my cheek. Then one pulled my hair while the other kicked punched me"
"Oh my god I'm so sorry that sounds awful"
"Eh it's been worse"
"How bad does it get"
"Um one time some random guy slammed my head against the locker while another random guy slammed my locker door shut on my hand. But the worse was once after school all three girls, the two random boys, and these two other random boys locked me out of my car so I was stuck outside and they all started kicking and punching me while I was on the ground and couldn't get up. That was probably the worst because I couldn't walk for a few weeks and I had a concussion. That was before you guys came and mom and dad um left"
"Oh my god if I ever find those boys that did that I will kill them"
"That's not necessary. It was just a misunderstanding they thought I stole a lot of money from the girls and they were just I guess helping them. That's what the girls said at least"
"Whatever If you say so but if they ever hurt you again tell me and I promise they will get hurt the same way they hurt you"
"I'm sure you will but trust me they won't hurt me I haven't seen them in a while"
"Oh well I'll let you go back to tutoring"
"Thanks I don't think I'm going to see you later today so um good night"
"You're not going to come down for dinner?"
"No I don't really feel like being questioned about what happened"
"Well I'll bring you up a plate anyways" he says finally leaving

"Okay well now that we will hopefully have no interruptions we can actually start" I say sighing
"Wait before we do.. I have a question" Zach asks
"Yes"
"Why do you let people hit you...doesn't it hurt"
"It's weird, by now it's like my body is used to what happens because it never really hurts anymore. Plus it's just normal for me to get hurt by people. All I've really known is people hitting me so it's not that bad"
"What do you mean that's all you've known" jack asks
"Well I don't really think I trust you guys yet to say all that I mean we kinda just met. Just know the people that are living in my house are the only people I count as family so take that as you will. Anyways can we Please just start this" I say

After an hour of tutoring them I have a feeling I won't be out of this for a while because they truly don't know anything

This is why I hate being in my science class. No one knows anything in the class but me and it makes class go slow and boring.

Im not going to make the boys feel bad for not knowing what they're doing but I'm not going to make them think they know everything

"Well you guys don't know everything but you don't know nothing. So I suggest looking over and studying all of this for at least 5 minutes a night and if you're really in the mood for studying try 30 minutes. And if you're really really in the mood try for an hour. But at least 5 minutes" I say after we finish

They say okay and eventually leave my house

After a long tiring day I go in my bed and fall asleep

I wake up to see a plate of food on my bed and a note

'You were sleeping when I came in so I just left the plate on your bed. It might be cold and if it is please text me and I'll heat it up for you. Goodnight, love you, get better and don't let anyone hurt you anymore'

I put the note in my drawer filled with the 100s of other notes I've gotten from him

I eat the food and put the plate on my floor and change my clothes

I go back in my bed and do my homework. After I finish my homework I look over my notes and fall asleep again
