I get to his class first and put my stuff down at my desk when I go up to him

"Why aren't you wearing a bandaid" he asks me when I get up to his desk
"A girl pulled it off and so I need a new one" I say sadly
"I'll get you one. We don't want it getting infected now do we" he says smiling
"That's what i told the girl but she said she didn't care which is stupid because infections are really serious and if she had an infection she would definitely care" I say even more sadly
"Hey this isn't the Chloe I know. Usually you would be really energetic talking about this. What's wrong"
"I'm sad"
"And why are you sad"
"I was thinking about what happened with my p-parents and if I died from an infection I wouldn't have anyone who actually cared"
"hey don't think about that. Your brothers would care, I would care, and I'm sure many other people would care"
"I don't think so"
"Well I know so. And remember you're fine and away from your awful awful parents and they will never hurt you ever again"

I suddenly get full of energy and I'm ready to tell Mr. Marais my facts about crime

"Actually I am not necessarily fine they could always try and escape jail and come after me. Did you know that in the U.S at least 6,530 have escaped from jail. And they could easily make that number 6,532. In Australia the life sentence is at least 25 years. What if they are in Australia and they come after me. But of course they couldn't be in Australia because they have to serve in jail where the crime was committed and I don't think I've ever been to Australia for them to go there but who knows. Anyways what I'm trying to say is that statistically just because they are in jail doesn't mean they can't come after me once they escape if they escape which of course is possible seeing they are only in a minimal security jail." I finish all out of breath
"See that's the Chloe I know. The one who will make sure you know all the facts while making sure she gets her point across"
"What can I say I'm very passionate" I say still out of breath
"Do you need some water"
"Yes I really do. Plus a bandaid because I'm not in the mood for an infection"

Class is over and I am about to leave because I remember last time I was told I have to

However I get called over to his desk

"Don't you want me to leave. Cause trust me if I stay in here any longer I'm not going to Science"
"About that I talked to your teacher and he agreed that you don't belong in that class and he said that if you take the final today you don't have to go to that class and next year you'll do the classes you need"
"Wait really? That's great! Thank you so much"
"No problem well id go now. Also come back after school cause I have to give you a few things for the tutoring"
"Okay thanks" I say starting to leave
"I think you're forgetting something"
"What?" I ask turning around
"Your stuff"
"Oh Sorry"

I go to Science and put my stuff at my seat and go up to my teacher

"Great you're here. So I've heard that you don't like my class"
"Well it's not that I don't like the class it's just I rather be in a more advanced class because this is really easy for me and I rather be challenged"
"I see well I've talked to the office and they said that if you take the final and get a good grade which I'm sure you will you won't have to come to this class and instead stay in whatever class is before"
"So can I take it"
"Yes I have it right here and when you're done it will be graded quickly"I
"Okay thank you"

He gives me the test and tells me to go in the the room next to his which just happens to be Mr. Marais's

I knock on the door and he lets me in

"You're back?"
"Yeah can I take my test in here the teacher told me to ask"
"Sure just go in the back"
"Okay Thanks"

I go to the back which is unfortunately behind Gabbie, next to Tate, and diagonal from Christina

I try not to look at them while I sit down

I finish the final with 10 minutes left of class and I quickly leave before anything bad happens

"Thanks" I say leaving
"Wait" he calls for me before the door shuts
"Yes" I say walking back in
"Tell your brother Tyler that I said hi"
"I will by the way he says thank you"
"Thank you? Why"
"I don't know he told me to tell you a couple months ago and I just forgot"
"Okay well have a great day good luck with your test"
"Thanks"

I leave the room and go back to Science. When I go back in I hand in my test and the teacher grades it by the end of class

The bell rings and before I leave he calls me up to his desk

"Okay so I graded the test"
"And..."
"I have good and bad news"
"Oh no"
"Do you want the good or bad news first"
"Bad please"
"Well the bad news is we won't see each other for a while and the good news is you passed"
"Really? What did I get?"
"A 150"
"How?"
"I gave you 50 extra points because there's only 50% of the class you haven't done and you still passed"
"Oh thank you well have a nice year"
"You too"
