(I don't know how jail visits work because I've never been to one but we can pretend)

When we walk in we quickly find Tyler waiting at the desk with a guard

"They said they will bring her in after you guys go. I told them you want to be with Corbyn to feel safe"
"Okay"

"Are you ready?" The guard asks
"I-I think" I respond
"Okay you will go in and we will bring her and leave. We are watching and she is in handcuffs so she will not be able to hurt you. You will have 30 minutes. Well I'll see you after also sorry about your father"
"Th-thank you"

He brings us into a room with a table and we sit on one side.

I get even more scared and Corbyn takes my hand

"Relax babe it's going to be okay"

I don't respond and keep looking forward

Suddenly I hear a key jingle and the door opens

I squeeze his hand a little and he rubs the back of it with his finger

I look to the doors and in she walks... my mother

The guards have her sit down and then they leave

"Oh you look so different you are so grown up" she says
"Of course I'm going to look different. I haven't seen you in 5 years. And seeing the only time you saw me was when you would hit me"
"I am so sorry"
"You're only sorry because you got caught."
"That's not true. But what has changed with you. Who is this boy"
"This is Corbyn, my boyfriend"
"Oh really. What else changed"
"A lot. Do you realize how much you ruined my life."
"Dont say that"
"No I'm not just not going to say that, my life is awful. Because of you I get bullied everyday because everyone saw our court thing and they use it against me. I never eat because I'm scared someone will hurt me because that's what you've taught me. I can't talk to anyone without having some type of anxiety about it. I am scared every night because you might have escaped jail and try to hurt me. I have panic attacks every morning because you might be waiting downstairs to steal me. I get anxious talking to anyone at all" I say crying
"I am so so so sorry I never wanted this to happen"
"Did you even want me"
"What do you mean"
"Did you even want me as your daughter. There must be some reason why you did all this. I have been so close to death so many times all because of you. If you really wanted me you wouldn't have almost killed me 7 times. Yes 7 times. Am I that much of a disappointment that you had to almost kill me. All I did was study instead of hang out with people what is so wrong with that."
"I don't know why I did it"
"I can't believe you. You have to have a reason for what you did"
"I really don't know"
"Can you at least tell me why you had a daughter if you didn't want one"
"We wanted one more child and we were hoping for a girl"
"And you got a girl yet you decided to ruin her life how nice"
"Im sorry I love you so much and I didn't want to ruin your life"

"Well I have nothing but hatred for you and I never want to see you again. Can you answer one thing for me"

"Did you make that stranger do it"
"Ye-yes"
"I can't believe you would let me go through that pain. As a mother you should never want anyone to do that but no you forced a stranger that I've never met before do that. And to think it was multiple times. When I was 3,5,7,12, when were you going to stop letting it happen because I couldn't do anything to stop"
"They never wanted to"
"Of course they didn't they aren't a monster but you, you are."

The guards come in and say I can have one more thing to say

"I am so glad you are in jail so I never have to see you again. I hope you never get out" I say and the guards take her away

"I am so proud of you" Corbyn says pulling me into a hug

I cry on his shirt not feeling accomplished at all. She had no reason for what she did or why she forced them to do what they did
