7 - First Encounter

Trip to the musuem - definitely the most fun school trip. All of the students were all clustered up in a group and everyone was yawning and looked like they were half asleep when Nomura, the curator of the museum wanted to take the students around and show them the "amazing" artifacts in the museum.

Then Mr. Strickler suggests that the students can do some free roaming around the museum. Blake was walking around the first floor inspecting the pieces of artifcats from the ancient times, she looks up and notices Jim and and Toby.

"But if I get five hundred thousand - oh, man, you guys - that's when things get interesting!" Toby chuckles. Blake decides to go talk to Jim by meeting up with them upstairs.

When Blake caught up to Jim and Toby upstairs he notices that Jim was slouching against the railing. Blake taps him on shoulder.

"Hey, what's up?" Blake greets.

Jim looks up and smiles when he saw Blake, "I'm good, besides the fact that Steve is being a complete jerk to me,"

"Isn't he always jerk to everyone?" Blake sarcastically questions.

"Steve is taunting Jim about Claire," Toby cuts.

Blake looks up and notices Steve making himself moan and making it look like Claire was making out with him, "oh, hey, don't let him get to you, I'm pretty sure Claire will realize that he's a jerk because she's basically a straight A student," Blake tries to cheer Jim up.

"How? She's too busy thinking I'm a jerk for skipping play rehearsal," Jim whines.

"Well, this is your moment, dude!" Toby playfully punches Jim's shoulder, "take her hand and use those lips of yours and talk to her,"

"Yeah, he's right, you have to cut in when you see a chance," Blake completely agrees with Toby, she goes toward Toby and tells him a plan to get Steve away from Claire so Jim can jump in and talk to her. Toby then walks toward Steve while Jim was begging him not to go.

"Hey, Steve! Did you hear about the Neanderthal exhibit?" Toby whispers to Steve, "topless~!" Toby whispered in a melody tune. Steve took the bait and was smirking devilishly.

Blake pushes Jim, "hey, no, wait, stop!"

"No, you have to atone with her, if you don't do it now there won't be a second chance for you!" Blake pushes Jim even more until he was a foot away from Claire.

Jim gulps nervously, both Blake and Toby taunts him into talking with her and it worked. Toby cheers and raises his hand for a high five and Blake slaps his hand as they finished their operation for Jim.

It seemed to be going well for them between them so far, until Eli was spazzing out about something he saw outside of his house.

"At first, I thought it was an alien. Definitely not human!" Toby and Blake started walking toward the commotion, "it's some sort of monster!"

Blake was somehow intrigied by it but the girl wasn't buying what Eli was telling them, "hey, Eli, can I see?" Blake askes, Eli gladly accepts and shows her the picture. Her eyes widen and before she could see it more clearly Toby takes Eli's phone out of his hand.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" Toby was muttereing. Blake tried to look over his head but before she could see it, Toby already hit the delete button - on purpose.

"What the heck! You deleted it?!" Eli and Blake said in unison.

"Darn these stubby little fingers," Toby complains as he looks at his stubby little fingers, "if it's any consolation, I believed you" then his chubby tracker beeps a melody. Toby looks back at Jim and Claire and they were still talking to each other.
