Chapter Ten

Zayn's Pov:

I didn't want to face the outside world, This apartment is all me and Niall have it was our only escape from the outside world. It kept us away from reality. I sighed leaning closer into Niall, I then buried my head in the crock of his neck. 

"What's wrong?" Niall asked while drawing patterns into my shoulder with his fingertips. 

"I don't want to walk out that door" I replied sighing. 

"What do you mean?" Niall asked. 

"When we walk out that door we face reality, I don't want to do that" I said, Niall sighed before holding me closer to him. 

"We have to face it at some point Zayn" He said. 

"I know, I'm just not ready yet. Please just give me a few more days Niall?" I begged, Niall sighed. 

"What about Josh?" He asked, I bit my lower lip. 

"I know your going to hate me, But just tell him you haven't seen me? I'm not running away Niall, I just need a few days to get back on track" I said, Niall sighed before nodding his head. 

"Ok, But I can't stay here with you, Josh might get suspicious, So promise me no drugs Zayn, I mean it" Niall stated. 

"I promise" I said, Niall gave me a small smile before leaning down to give me a gentle kiss, He then stood up and began to get changed. 

"Niall?" I said.

"Yeah?" Niall replied while putting on his shirt. 

"Why are you with me?" I asked. 

"What do you mean?" He questioned. 

"I mean what do you possibly see in me?" I added. 

"I see a boy with a loving heart that he's never had to use before, You put yourself down because you feel your not capable of love but truth be told you are, Your something special Zayn even if you don't see it I do" Niall said. 

"I'm not special" I mumbled. 

"Zayn look at the things you've done for me? You never gave up on me, When I was hurt you searched for me, Takes someone with a loving heart to do that" Niall replied.

"You really think so?" I asked. 

"I know so" Niall said while smiling, I smiled back at him before leaning forward to kiss him. 

"I love you Niall, It won't be long till we can be together, I promise" I stated, Niall smiled at me, He then nodded his head. 

"I know, I'll be round later with some dinner" Niall said before leaning down and kissing me, He then left the apartment, Leaving me all alone, I sighed missing him the minute he left. I then stood up from the bed and took a look at myself in the mirror, I looked like a homeless chav, I ran my fingers through my hair before heading to the bathroom and taking a long hot shower. 

Niall's Pov:

I walked into Josh apartment an hour later to find him laid out on the couch, I sighed before walking over to him and I knelt down on the floor, Before I shook him gently. 

"Josh, Mate wake up" I whispered. 

"Who, What, Huh, Zay- Oh Niall hey mate" He said while yawning. 

"You alright mate?" I asked, Josh nodded his head before sighing and shaking it.

"Where is he Niall? Where's Zayn?" Josh cried out, I sighed before pulling him into a hug. 

"I don't know mate" I whispered. 

"I think he's cheating on me Niall" Josh whispered, I froze instantly. 

"What, Why?" I asked trying not to sound guilty. 

"He's never here Niall, He doesn't seem to want to cuddle as much anymore, And where else would he be Niall? He's with someone else" Josh cried out, I bit my lower lip.

"Josh your not making any sense, Why would Zayn cheat on you eh? Your amazing, He's lucky to have you" I assured him as guilt began overtaking me. 

"Then where is he Niall? Why ain't he here?" Josh asked. 

"You know Zayn, He always takes off with no explanations, He'll be back soon, And he's not cheating on you Josh" I said, Josh smiled. 

"What would I do without you?" Josh said before pulling me into a hug, I sighed hugging him back. Why does this have to be so hard? Why couldn't me and Zayn come out as a couple and be happy? Without causing anyone any pain? Why was life so unfair and cruel? 

I stayed with Josh for two hours trying my best to comfort him, Then Louis and Harry took over, I then stopped off to get me and Zayn some take out before heading back to his apartment, I opened the front door before stepping inside. 

"Zayn I'm home" I shouted smiling, It felt so right to me saying that, Zayn walked out the living room looking as beautiful as ever. 

"Welcome home" He said before pulling me into a hug, I smiled before bursting out laughing. 

"What's so funny?" Zayn asked smiling at me. 

"We sound like an old married couple" I replied, Zayn chuckled before taking the bags from my hands, He then walked into the kitchen me following closely behind, Zayn then took some plates from the cupboards and began to dish up the food, While he did this I wrapped my arms tightly around his waist, I sighed into his back before gently kissing it. 

"What's wrong?" Zayn asked turning around in my arms. 

"Josh knows Zayn, He knows your cheating on him" I said, Zayn's eye's widened. 

"What? How? What happened? Did he hurt you?" Zayn questioned concern filling his voice, I shook my head. 

"He doesn't know it's me, But he told me he thinks your cheating, And I lied to him, I told him your not, We have to tell him Zayn, We can't go on like this, One of us will get hurt, But we have to tell him" I exclaimed, Zayn nodded his head. 

"Ok, If that's what you want we'll tell him" Zayn said taking a hold of my hands. 

"Really?" I asked. 

"Really" Zayn replied, I smiled at him before wrapping my arms tightly around his shoulders. 

"I love you" I whispered into his ear, Zayn said nothing he only held me closer to his body. I should feel nervous but I don't, Tomorrow me and Zayn are going to our judgement day and we had no idea what our sentence would be.
