New Acquaintance

The next morning, I was woken up by Dad at 7 o'clock in the morning.

"Y/n! Y/n, wake up."

I slowly sat up, yawning,

"Why? It's 7 in the morning", I mumbled.

"Because there is a meeting with Nick Fury that you have to go to, because he doesn't know you're Spider-Girl" , he said.

"Fine. Is Pete going to be there?", I asked.

" You can make him go if you want. "

I rubbed my hands together evilly. "Oh, I want to."

"Stark, nice to see you again. I see you have brought Peter, but who is this?", Fury asked, shaking Dad's hand.

" Hello Fury, this is my honorary daughter, y/n. She is also Spider-Girl, which is why I brought her. ", Dad responded.

"Well, a pleasure to meet you, y/n.", Fury said to me.

" The pleasure is all mine. ", I said, shaking his hand.

" This is why you woke me up? ", Peter complained.

"Yes, I wanted you to feel my pain.", I laughed at him.

" Whatever. "

"Ahem."

I turned to see Fury looking at us with one eyebrow raised.

" Sorry Mr. Fury, sir. ", I said.

" Just call me Fury. Anyway, Stark, is she an Avenger? ", he asked.

" I guess you'll have to ask her. ", he said, gesturing to me, and stepping to the side.

" Well, I'm not technically an Avenger, but I am Pete's sidekick, Spider-Girl", I said.

"Um, you are not my sidekick", Peter said.

" Sorry. Peter is my sidekick. "

"What?!"

" Kidding, we are partners in crime. I mean, in superheroing. Is that a word? ", I asked.

" No", Dad said.

"Okaay then. Moving on. I just have to ask you some simple questions, and put you in the system. Follow me. Stark, Parker, stay here.", Fury said, breaking us up.

" I'm going to be in the system! ", I whispered mockingly to Pete.

He held back a snort as we walked away.

" So, Ms. L/n. Can you tell me your relations to the Avengers? ", Fury said, getting straight to the point.

" Well, I'm Dad's, Tony's, honorary daughter, as he calls it. The Avengers are pretty much my family, but Peter is my boyfriend, so hands off", I responded with a laugh.

"Trust me, I have no interest in dating Peter."

" Ouch. "

"Moving along, can you tell me your specific powers?", he asked.

" The exact same as Pete's. I've got super strength, super speed, heightened senses, I can stick to anything, I've got the Spidey sense too. I also have a faster metabolism. "

"Do you know how, and where you got your powers?"

"I don't know where, but I'm assuming a radioactive spider?"
