Labas-pasok ako ng Philippines for so many times, pero sa mga uwi kong iyon, I never had the chance to see “him”. Hindi ko alam. Maybe hindi niya alam na umuuwi ako dito, pero to think of that Gabby and I go out everytime umuuwi ako, it’s weird and hindi kapani-paniwala na wala talaga siyang may narinig sa pag-uwi ko.
Or maybe.. wala na talaga.
5 years had gone so fast. I couldn’t believe that I’ve finally come back here at my beloved country – successful and proud.
“Anbilis lang ng five years diba?” He asked me while hugging me from the back. “And I couldn’t believe that you’ll be forever here with me.” I looked at him and smiled softly.
“Sama ka saken tomorrow, I’m gonna visit Dad on his company.”
“Of course. It’s been awhile since I last saw Tito.” Silence. All I heard was the beating of his heart. “I love you.” He whispered at my ears.
“I love you too.” I answered back.
I do, right?
“Vincentttt!! I can’t believe I’m seeing youuuuu!” I screamed and hugged Vincent Yap.
“Yannnaaa! Arayyy… I can’t breatheee!”
“Wala kang hiyaaa! Pumunta ka ng Paris, di moko kinontact!!”
“I’m so sorrry. 24 hours lang naman kasi ako dun! Busy pa! Nasa meeting hall lang kaya ako!”
“Kahittt na nooo!” Binatukan ko siya ng mahina at kumalas naman kaagad si Vincent. “Nasan yung girlfriend mo?” I asked.
“Mamaya pa yung dismissal nun sa work. Alam mo naman, mahilig mag OT.” He grinned. “Tara, kaen muna tayo.”
“Errr, sige sige.” I grinned back.
“San mo gusto?”
“Hmmm, KFCCC!!”
“KFC?! Wala ba yan sa Paris?”
“Meron, pero di ako kumakain dun e. Iba talaga yung KFC dito sa MOA.” I smiled at Vincent.
“Sure ka?”
“Oo, tara na.” I dragged him to his car and we just laughed together.
Sobrang namiss ko yung bonding na to with Vincent and the others. Pakiramdam ko, bumalik ako sa high school. I missed a lot of these stuffs while I was in Paris.
“Kumusta na pala kayo ni Raph?” He asked.
“Ayos naman kami.” I smiled. “He’s very happy na dito ako magtatrabaho.”
“Bakit, may plano ka ba dati na dun na din sa labas magtatrabaho?”
“Sana. But I changed my mind. Pareho lang naman yung offer. What I can earn there, I can earn here. Plus, my life is really here.” I smiled again and looked at him.
“So.. nagkita na ba kayo nina Rhys?”
Bigla akong napatahimik.
“I’m sorry.” He suddenly said.
“No, wala iyon.” I chuckled. “It’s been a long time na din. I’ve let go.” I smiled. “Hindi pa e.”
“Oh. Okay.”
We got down from the car at pumasok na sa mall.
“Gosh, I missed MOA.”
Vincent chuckled. “Dapat di ako kasama mo dito e.”
“Vincent?!” Hinampas ko siya ng mahina and we laughed again.
“Loko lang.” He continued laughing.
