Devin picked Geo up at her apartment so they could ride to Pilates is Easy! which is Kennedy's Pilates studio. "You nervous to be on camera?" she asked him. "Not really. I watched some of the show and you guys seem like a cool bunch. I'm also on camera a lot myself," he reminded her. "Yeah, but this environment is different. I just thought you would be a little intimidated".

She turned to him and smiled. "But we're a pretty tame gang. The drama stays outside the circle since that's not the main focus of the show though it seems they're trying to make that shift". Devin patted her thigh as he drove and then put it back on the armrest. "Have you given anymore thought to leaving?" he asked. "I have and I'm really leaning towards saying goodbye. I think I've run my course on the show. They informed us a few days ago that they're making a second show in Boston so it's time for me to move on and let someone else do this".

"So you're just going to be a simple librarian living a simple life?" he asked jokingly. "Exactly that".

He parked across the street from Kennedy's studio and turned the car off. "Before we go in, does everyone call you Geo?". She nodded. "Yep! I've been Geo since like 8th grade and refuse to go by anything else," she said. "Well since I am your ex-husband, can I call you Georgette?" She scrunched her face and then said, "I don't like it but fine".

Geo and Devin playfully called each other their exes to get over the awkwardness that was their eighteen day marriage. There was truth in the statement after all. In the short period of time that they had been hanging out, they really enjoyed each other's company and had grown closer.

They walked into the studio where the sound crew was waiting to mic them. The process was over fairly quickly and they were sent off to mingle with the crowd. Kennedy danced over to them and hugged Geo and then Devin. "I'm a hugger," she said as she pulled away and looked at the expression on his face. "It's cool," he said. "Let me get the group so they can meet him," she said putting up her hands in excitement. Kennedy walked off and Devin looked at the table full of assorted pastas. "Pasta at a Pilates place? I feel like that's not orthodox," he said. "That was just to get people in the door".

Devin nodded as he looked around at the cameras that were filming the event. He was a little more uncomfortable than he expected to be but he was toughing it out since he had already agreed to be filmed. The event had more people than he had anticipated and even some notable figures from the Mesa/Phoenix social scene.

Kennedy came over with the group and they all introduced themselves to Devin. "I can see why Geo married you," Joseph said. "Very tall with an athletic build. Good for you".

There was a man with camera taking pictures of the event for Kennedy's website and he took some candid photos of the group meeting Devin. "Geo there's someone I want you to meet," Kennedy said. "I'll be back," she said to Devin. Geo was introduced to Kennedy's family members and other Pilates instructors in Maricopa County. She would look for Devin every once in a while to make sure he was doing okay. He's a grown man. Of course he is. As Geo was talking to Kennedy and the other instructors, she noticed Devin was speaking to an attractive woman about the same age as her.

"You know Geo is a librarian for the city," Kennedy informed one of the instructors. "Oh man, I haven't stepped foot in a library since I was in elementary school," the male instructor chuckled. "We're trying to bring a revitalization to libraries. They're staples in communities and can be used for a vast amount of resources. I really encourage you guys to stop by one day and see all the improvements that have been made. Your tax dollars did pay for the children's zone remodeling so if you have children it would be great for you all to bring them," she smiled as speaking about her work always made her giddy.

Geo looked over at Devin and the woman now had her hand on Devin's arm seemingly feeling his muscles as she giggled playfully.

Geo glared at her and Kennedy pulled her away from the conversation. "What's going on? What's with the face?" she asked as she looked over to see what had captured Geo's attention. Kennedy said, "Ahh," and nodded as she turned back to face Geo. "Are you feeling jealous?" she asked with a knowing smirk. "No, no, no," Geo repeated attempting to convince herself.

She didn't know why, but seeing this woman touch and heavily flirt with Devin was bothering her. Kennedy stepped in and blocked her view. "Get it together. They're still filming," she said to her. Heat rushed over Geo and Kennedy waved for Brianna to come over. "What's going on?" Brianna asked with a plate of pasta in her hand. "Do you guys know who that girl is?" Geo asked through gritted teeth.

Brianna turned around. "It's one of my clients," Kennedy said. "I'm going to go have a few words with her," Geo said as she gently pushed the girls away. "Oh my god no," Kennedy said as Geo made her way over to Devin and the girl.

As if she was no longer in control of her actions, she wrapped her arm around Devin and placed the other hand on his chest. "Hi," she said haughtily. "Hi. We're in the middle of talking," the woman said to Geo. "Ok well this conversation is now over," she quipped. The girl looked offended. "And who are you to say that?" she sneered. "I'm his ex-wife," Geo snarled as if that title held any weight. The girl rolled her eyes and walked off, not wanting the trouble. Devin looked down at Geo. "Maybe we should get out of here," he suggested. "I think that's a good idea".

**********

Geo sat on her bed as Devin walked in with a bottle of water. He handed it to her and she took a drink. "So what was that all about?" he asked as he sat at the edge of the bed. "I don't know," she said. "I really don't know what came over me. I feel so embarrassed". She screwed the cap on the bottle and sat it on the nightstand next to the bed. "You were clearly jealous," he pointed out. "I was not!" she said defending herself. "You were! You scared that poor girl off," he said.

"It's not like you guys were talking about anything important," she said, rolling her eyes. "We weren't and she was touchier than I like people to be with me but it doesn't take away from you being jealous". Devin leaned in and said, "Just admit you were jealous. You saw a cute girl talking to me and it got you riled up. It's alright". Geo cocked her head back. "You thought she was cute?" she questioned. Devin pointed at her and nodded as he knew his suspicion was correct.

She shook her head. "I can't admit to something that's not true," she said leaning in closer to his face. "You were jealous". Their noses touched and Geo couldn't hide the tension that had built between them anymore. She put her lips on Devin's and kissed him. When she realized her mistake, she pulled away. "I'm so sorry. I don't know what's wrong with me today".

Devin stared and then moved in for another kiss. He climbed up to her and was eventually on top of her. Geo ran her hand down his back and then up his shirt. She lifted her leg and draped it over him as the kisses became deeper and more passionate. He pulled away to get a good look at her. She blinked slowly and bit her lip. "You want more?" he asked. In that moment, Geo realized what they were doing and gently pushed him off of her. Devin came to his senses as well and got off the bed. The two of them avoided eye contact with each other as they breathed heavily.

"I think you should go," she said to him. "Yeah it's for the best". Geo walked Devin to the door where he awkwardly hugged her goodbye and made his way back home.
