Devin walked over to Geo and she hugged him tightly. "Where have you been?" she asked him. "I had to leave for a little bit but I was here most of the time. I guess we just never crossed paths," he said. "Well I'm really glad to see you," Geo smiled as she pulled away. "I'm glad to see you too. You look good as always".

She hugged him again which was perfect for Devin. He longed to be close to her and if this was what he could get, he was going to take it. She pulled away and looked into his dark brown eyes. She didn't want to say it. Not here, not now. There were too may people around and this was something that needed to be said in private.

"I see you got your bottle," he said pointing at the whiskey in her purse. "Oh yeah," she said. "Karl gave it to me. He said you got it just for me," she said. "I did. I wasn't sure if you would like that brand but I asked around and people told me it was the best". She rubbed his arm and smiled. "It tastes amazing. You did a good job".

Devin grabbed Geo's hand and pulled her into the kitchen. "Pour me some," he said as he grabbed a plastic cup. Geo took the bottle from her purse and poured a sample of the whiskey into the plastic cup. He took a drink and nodded. "I don't like whiskey but that's pretty damn good," he chuckled.

Devin looked at her outfit as he admired her style. The way she mixed conservative with club wear so seamlessly. Effortless, just like everything she does. "I want to talk to you," Devin said. "We're talking right now!" Geo smiled.

"In private".

Geo's heart skipped a beat and she nodded eagerly. "Lead the way," she said. Devin grabbed her hand and they made their way through the crowd and upstairs into a dimly lit bedroom. He closed and locked the door behind Geo as she went and sat on the bed. She sat her purse on the nightstand next to the bed and made herself comfortable. "What's up?" she asked as he walked over and sat down next to her.

"I'm glad to see you," he said. "I'm glad to see you too but we've already established that," she smiled. Devin licked his lips and nodded. He pulled her up here because he knew it was now or never. If she got too serious with Jeremy, he would miss his chance to tell her how he really felt about her and he would hate himself if he allowed that to happen.

"I've had a lot on my mind," he said. "About what? You know you can always talk to me," she smiled. "I know, I just didn't know how to approach this situation because it involves you". Geo nodded understandingly but she needed him to elaborate. Thinking about her could go either way and she wasn't going to say anything about how she felt unless she knew there was a chance he would reciprocate. Although she had feelings for Devin, he was a great friend and she wouldn't want to lose his friendship over this.

"I've been thinking about us lately. Our friendship and how we always have fun together," he said. "It's nice being around you," he smiled. Geo wasn't sure why he needed to pull her away to make this admission but it was still nice to hear. "I feel the same way. I was instantly comfortable around you and that like never happens," she chuckled. "Kind of like we're kindred spirits?" he asked. "Yeah!" Geo exclaimed. "How did you know I would say that?" she asked.

"It's what you said the night we met. When we got married". Geo thought back to that night and how they made the spontaneous decision the get married at 1OAK, how they rode on their way to the Marriage Bureau talking nonsense that made complete sense to them.

"And that kiss," she spoke quietly. Devin pulled her in for a kiss and there it was. The fire that was first ignited six months ago was now a blazing inferno. Geo pushed herself on top of Devin as they continued to kiss. He slid his hand up her skirt and tightly grabbed her ass. She let out a little giggle as she smiled at him. She could feel him growing harder as they kissed and touched each other.
