when a writer falls in love, remember this:
there will always be a character based on you. you're either the villain or the hero, depending on how much she likes you. you may live until the readers finish the book or you may die in the middle of the story, depending on how much her pain is.
i've done this thrice, and i hope this will be my last. there is a different ache when i write about heartache and fill it with daisies and dandelions versus when i think about it alone at night. maybe because it's the only way of letting it all out instead of just filling yourself with it.
when a writer falls in love with you, you may die in the story, but the ink and paper will keep you alive.
