i'm so in love with you
i think you don't know yet,
like the morning coffee i brew
you're calm and quiet,
you're the words i try to find
just so this poem could make it rhyme,
but i know i have to wait
for the coffee to cool down—
—settle,
and it's okay because
i'll wait for you,
i am willing to wait
however long it may take.
(and i promised i'll wait, and so i will.)
