you deserve the recognition
for all the wars you've fought,
for all the words they threw you,
that you never get caught.
although you are quiet
and never seem to make a sound,
you have scars
that almost got you bound.
i may not frequently say it
or i may not say it at all,
[because i'm not used to saying it in person] but
i am proud of your victories,
i am with you at your losses
when you thought no one else was.
