"You think he's actually gonna find a deer?" Thalia asked from my side.

"Not a chance. He'll probably get lost along the way and I will have to bring him back." I replied. Thalia laughed at my remark. I marveled at her and Percy's similarities. They were both strong headed and stubborn. They get into fights but would die for one another.

"I don't doubt it my lady but Percy has never given up and always finds a way."

I hummed in agreement and sat at the dinner table.

"Thalia can you round up the girls for me. I need to go over details for our next mission." I asked. The black haired girl nodded and ran off to gather her sisters. Zeus had pulled me aside last meeting and asked if I could do a hunting mission for him. Apparently there was a large group of monsters running about in Georgia. Father already knew I would say yes to his request. I never turn down a good fight.

"My lady we're all here." Thalia said with the group of girls behind her. I smiled at them all and gestured for them to sit.

"Girls we have a mission." I started. Immediately there was a hushed excitement running through the ranks. "We've been ordered to go to Georgia and hunting down a group of monsters."

"Do we know how many my lady?" Alex questioned. I shook my head.

"No so we will have to have a scouting party to go investigate before we attack." I answered.

"Will Lord Perseus come with us?" The youngest of of hunters Jackie asked.

"Yes he will accompany us to Georgia." Surprisingly there were no remarks. I guess the girls had heard of the stories of Percy and his skill in combat. "Ok girls that's all I wante-

Before I could finish my sentence a arrow came whistling out of the trees and hit Atlanta in the shoulder. She yelled as she hit the ground hard.

"We're under attack!" I yelled as I brought out my bow and dove for cover. The hunters followed my lead and used whatever cover they could find. We were lucky to find cover so quickly because another volley of arrows came which would've killed all my girls.

"I can't see them!" Thalia yelled as she quickly brought her head out. I glanced out but nothing caught my seasoned eyes.

"They're in the trees!" Matty yelled as she shot one arrow off. I heard a resounding thud hit the ground. She had hit one.

"Good fucking shot!" Thalia yelled and order them to fire at the trees. My hunters returned a volley of their own but it seemed none had hit their mark.

"Fire one more volley! I'm gonna get a better angle!" Ashley yelled. The girls nodded and rose from their cover and fired another volley. Ashley bee-lined for a different position. She almost made it but a lone arrow hit its mark and had landed in her thigh.  I could hear her yells of pain as I quickly ran over and put her behind a tree.

"Are you ok?" I said in concern. Ashley grimaced but nodded her head.

"Kill these fuckers." She said looking me in the eyes. I looked to the woods but still couldn't make anything out. Suddenly their was a rustling and out appeared from the tree line hellhounds, empousa and cyclops. My eyes widened as I saw the monster charge at my hunters who were embedded in their cover.

"Shoot! Try to hold them back!" I yelled as I reared back on my bow and let loose. The hunters followed my lead and let loose. We must've killed at least twenty but they still kept charging at us. It got to the point where they were so close we had to switch to our knives. I prepared for close quarter combat when suddenly I heard an all to familiar voice.
