-War Has Begun-

The Day of the attack

"Thalia.....Thalia wake up." The daughter of Zeus awoke with a gasp as she bolted up from her bed. "Woah woah. You're ok it's just me." Atlanta said grabbing Thalia shoulders to calm her down. Thalia groaned out as she grasped her head.

"Atlanta please don't ever do that again." Atlanta gave her a sympathetic smile as she got off the bed. Thalia looked out the window and saw that the sun had barely risen above the horizon. She gave a confused look at her friend who shrugged.

"We have orders for everyone to be up at five am. They said that the time of the attack is unknown." Thalia supposed that made sense. She could only imagine how the others might feel for waking up this early for a potential attack.

"Well then. Let's get ready, we have a long day ahead of us." Atlanta agreed before getting everyone else awoken and prepared. Groans were heard from the younger hunters as they mumbled for five more minutes. It took almost ten minutes for everyone to get prepared but once they had Thalia led them outside the cabin. She couldn't help but be a little shocked at the sight that greeted her. Demigods littered the grounds as they prepared. Some were handing out weapons or armor, some were pushing ballistas towards the hill and some were patrolling the camp with torches in their hand. Thalia couldn't remember the last time camp had been this organized for an attack. It was usually sound the alarm and wack at monsters with your weapon. Suddenly her thoughts were broken up by trotting ahead of her.

"Hunters good morning!" Chiron said galloping up to them. Even he was ready for an attack, a bow strapped to his shoulder and a quiver of arrows on his back.

"Chiron. I haven't seen anything like this before." Thalia said gesturing to the many demigods. Chiron had a proud smile on his face as she spoke.

"Yes Yes. Ever since we befriended the Romans we've decided to take a more organized approach to the way we deal of things. But never mind that we are waiting for the hunters at the war room." Thalia looked to her hunters who nodded their heads.

"Then lead the way." Thalia gestured. It took them less than three minutes to reach the big house. As they entered she was greeted by some of her old friends and some new councilors who sat around the table.

"Thalia." Clarisse said getting up from her seat and giving her a hug. She returned the hug as she had missed her and her friends greatly. After fighting two wars together you create a bond that just can't be replicated. Thalia took her seat across from the councilor of the Apollo cabin Will who had given her a friendly smile.

"Now that we are all gathered let us begin." Chiron said as he stood at the edge of the table. Clarisse was the first one to speak up.

"We have traps set up outside the perimeter of the camp just in case they do a full on assault. I've ordered all infantry to rank into a phalanx as the archers will shoot their arrows from behind. We are stationed here just below the hill." She said pointing at the map that showed the entirety of camp. Everyone nodded their heads as they agreed with the war child's approach.

"I have medics on standby. Some on the battlefield, some at the infirmary just in case." Will interjected. Chiron nodded his head as the council continued to speak.

"The Hephaestus cabin has done all they could to make as much armor and weapons as possible but now there is no more time. We will be on the battlefield." Nyssa spoke. Ever since Leo got partial immortality she had to be the one to lead her cabin. The rest of the council spoke up to relay their plans. Some were joining the archers and some were joining the infantry. Overall, it sounded like everything was set and under control but they all knew plans could go to shit the second the battle started.
