Percy sat in the dark corner of his cell as he stared into nothingness. Screams from the other prisoners filled his ears but he paid no mind to it. Long gone were the days where he worried about others safety. Here in the arena all you had to worry about was staying alive. He had no idea how long he's been locked up in his cell. Days, weeks, months? He didn't know. He hasn't seen the light of day since he first arrived at the arena. The only thing he has seen were his torturers who came at a fixed schedule every day and try to break him. Of course they hadn't succeeded yet but he could feel his barriers breaking. He was beginning to lose it down here and it was only a matter of time before he snapped.

Percy jerked his head up as he heard his cell door creak open. He didn't turn away as his torturers walked into his cell. He would not show weakness to them, that's how they break you.

"Good afternoon mighty Olympian. How's your day?" His first torturer Hyperion said in a all to cheery voice. Percy sneered at the Titan as he made his way over. His second torturer laughed at the remarks.

"Oh come on Hyperion! You know Jackson doesn't talk anymore. Especially after that one time where we cut out his tongue!"

"Oh he can talk Pallas. He's an immortal now, his tongue grew back. See!" Hyperion slashed Percy's chest with a dagger causing Percy to gasp. Pallas gasped as he saw Percy's mouth open.

"You're right Hyperion! His tongue did grow back. You know what that means!" Pallas said with a gleam in his eyes Percy was all to familiar with. Hyperion grasped Pallas's shoulder and gave him a firm look.

"Not today Nephew. Percy here is fighting in the arena today." Hyperion said slapping Percy's cheek. That peaked the tortured Percy's interest. He had heard from the other prisoners talking about the arena. Supposedly it was just like how the Romans did it. But these weren't Romans fighting, its beast and monsters. "I see that look in your eye Jackson. The look of a killer." Hyperion said grabbing his jaw roughly. Percy could feel his jaw crack from the pressure but paid no attention to it. He's felt enough pain to almost become immune from it. "Pallas unchain him and take him to the prepping area." Hyperion said walking out of the cell. Pallas walked over to Percy and punched square in the face causing him to groan out.

"Don't think of doing anything funny Jackson." Pallas said unlocking the shackles that dug themselves into his bone. Percy once released from his chains immediately slumped to the blood stained floor. He had no energy to even stand, he hadn't been fed or had water. Well scratch that, they had given him water but it was mixed with something to make him drown. "Alright up your go." Pallas grunted as he picked up the weakened God. He drug him down the cell block and through the hallways. Percy could feel the eyes from the other prisoners on him as he got dragged. He paid no attention to them, no need to look at the people he was about to kill.

Lord! Lord it's you!" A familiar voice rang out from one cell. Percy barely had enough strength to look up.

"Rex." Percy mumbled. Rex banged on the bars of the cell but it didn't relent. This was no time for a reunion however as Percy continued to get dragged away.

"We're here Jackson stand up." Pallas said. Percy grunted as he tried to but the strain got the best of him as he fell back on the ground. Pallas rolled his eyes as he walked over to a table. He grabbed a bucket of water and promptly splashed it on the God. Percy gasped as energy flowed throughout his body. It had been so long since he felt water on his skin. Percy quickly stood up causing Pallas to take a step back. "Don't try anything Jackson. I'm just getting you ready." Pallas said as he walked over to him.

"For....what?" Percy grunted. His throat still hurt and was extremely dry.

"The fight of course. The owner wants to see you fight. And every monster in the entire Greek Pantheon wants to either fight you or see you killed so you've attracted quite a crowd today." Pallas responded as he strapped leather armor to Percy's chest.
