"Son I don't want you to go. Let Hermes do it! He's the God of stealing. This is his speciality." Percy's father pleaded. Percy rolled his eyes as he began to put on his new armor.

"Zeus wanted me to do it dad. Plus I know the layout of camp better than Hermes. I'll be in and out as fast as Hermes can run." Percy replied with slight annoyance. Who were they, Poseidon and Artemis, to tell him he can't do this mission. He was a God. He's been through Tartarus twice now and survived! Surely he could take on a couple hundred monsters at camp if he needed to.

"That's true. But you just got back. You're not rested enough." Poseidon said putting his hand on his shoulder.

"I've never felt better dad. You and Artemis are just being overprotective. I'll be fine." Percy said with a roll of his eyes.

"Artemis? She was worried also?" Poseidon asked. Percy deciding he did not want to have this conversation any longer put on his helmet and began to walk towards the door. Poseidon however continued. "I've noticed she's been talking with you more. Hestia even told me she was asking about you a lot while you were away."

"She's my teacher. And a friend. I'm sure it's just that." Percy said with finality. Poseidon kept pushing on.

"No I don't think that's it." He said with a sly smile. "Son I'm no Aphrodite but I think she's interested in you."

"Dad stop. She's a good friend. That's it." Percy thanked his helmet for covering his face as Poseidon would surely see the light golden blush on his face.

"Ok. Ok. But I want you to pay attention how she acts towards you. Then you tell me it's just friendship." Poseidon said while raising his hands in mock surrender.

"I'm about to risk my life for Olympus's sake and might possibly have to kill my ex-girlfriend tonight and all you can talk about his Artemis's and I relationship." Percy said in a annoyed tone.

"She's a very attractive goddess can you blame me." Poseidon replied but one strong look from Percy shut him up. "Ok sorry. I'll get back to the point. You know I don't want you to go on this mission but I can see that my words won't persuade you. All I can say is be careful and give them hell."

"I will." And with that Percy flashed away from Olympus into the woods of Camp of Half-Blood. Immediately Percy noticed a change from the last time he was here. The air was fouler, the woods seemed to have a more sinister feel, and there wasn't any positivity that you felt from the Golden Fleece that radiated its power throughout the land. After a moment of surveying he concluded that the best course of action was to make his way towards Zeus's fist. That way he could have the high ground and survey the camp. Ten minutes of avoiding enemy guards and angry tree nymphs later, he had finally arrived at Zeus's fist. Sadly, there were two enemy demigods at the top of the cliff but luckily they hadn't noticed his presence yet due to his armor changing its color to pitch black.

"I don't know why he wanted monsters as her personal guard. We should've been picked! We fought along side her in the giant war and she had the audacity to pick the very ones we were fighting in that war!" The demigod said while throwing more wood into their fire.

"Quit complaining bro. I'm glad we didn't get picked. From what I hear Annabeth is a bitch and a total pain in the ass to be her personal guard." The other replied as he twirled his sword in the air. So Annabeth had her own personal guard now Percy thought to himself. She must be pretty high in the ranks of Moros's army to have that. He decided for the two demigods to have a few moments left in this world to spill anymore information before he killed them.

"Yeah you're right. It's probably for the best anyway. I would've just stared at her ass the entire time." The two demigods laughed at the comment but it was swiftly interrupted.
