Chapter 9 | Shit shit shit!

Pauline Cynthia Zunino's Point of View

"Come here you annoying jerk!" I groaned and put the long chain of metal around Cyran's feet that made him stumble.

He even winked at me after he done it effortlessly before running for it again. I groaned and screamed in annoyance when Xavier iced my foot!

"This is cheating and you know it!" I shouted as he ran off, laughing at me like a maniac.

We're currently here playing at Merriplace's Mind and Recreational Games like we're young kids on a field trip.

Hera flew past me laughing when she saw my foot was iced while Sara stuck her tongue out. Obviously, I lost.

"What is it?" I asked.

"So." Sara smiled and glanced at Hera. "We saw your messages back at the car yesterday."

Hera giggled softly. "You have a date."

I felt my cheeks heat up as I rolled my eyes. "Hindi 'yun date. It's for work."

Umirap si Sara. "Still, you have to dress up! May three hours pa tayo bago totally bumalik sa mansion nila Cyran and go back to Earth, aaand, I have your mother's unit cards."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. "Mom's on this too?"

Tumawa si Hera. "Sorry, but we can't help it!"

"Boys! See you back at the mansion, we have some girls' things to do!" And then they both pulled me towards The Blind Berry's Clothing Line.

It's packed with Bleanriths Uni students, judging by the patches they were all wearing on either their bags or on their holowatches.

Sabay-sabay silang ngumiti at binati kami.

"You guys are back? That fast?"

"Uh no, day-off lang," Hera answered politely as we pushed pass through the students hovering around us, asking questions whether Earth is fine or where Cyran and Xavier is.

"Girls, girls, please, let the ladies pass through!" We turned and saw Madam Pygmy, the owner of this clothing line.

I chuckled and realized how much I've missed Madam Pygmy's deep words whenever we visit her store.

Sara grinned. "This girl right here has a date!" Malakas na sabi niya, I heard murmurs behind my back.

"Sara!" I whispered, trying to remind her about the students behind us who are currently listening closely.

Madam Pygmy smiled. "Hmmm, with a human?" She whispered.

Don't mind what Sara said," I explained while Madam Pygmy just nodded continuously, not even listening to me.
