“I want to pour water in her face, can I do it?”

“Ako din gusto ko.”

“Give her a break, hayaan niyo na lang.”

“She almost exposed our existence!”

“She was sad plus alcohol, so you can’t blame her.”

“Gusto ko pa din siya buhusan ng tubig ngayon tapos ifri-freeze ko sa mukha niya.”

I groaned in pain when I opened my eyes. 

Masyado atang mabilis ang pagbukas ng mata ko dahil sobra akong nasilaw nang makakita ng ilaw. Mas lalo kong naramdaman ang sakit ng ulo ko nang pumikit ako ng mariin.

What the hell…

“Now she’s awake, we already lost the opportunity to pour water in her face.”

“Shut up, Xavier.”

Dahan-dahan kong binuksan ang mga mata ko. The first one I saw was Xavier looking at me with an annoyed face, his eyes squinted while arms crossed. Katabi naman niya si Hera na binigyan ako ng malambot na ngiti habang si Sara ay nakataas ang kilay sa’kin. Sa likod nilang tatlo ay nakasandal sa dingding si Cyran, tinitignan lang ako ng walang expression sa mukha.

“What’s with you guys?” I groaned in pain again when I tried to sit up. “Why are you here?”

“Try to guess, dumbass,” pataray na sagot ni Xavier na akala mo ay babae.

Hinawakan ko ang ulo ko, minamasahe ‘yon. “Stop shitting me, masakit ulo ko; what happened last ni—“ I stopped abruptedly, remembering fragments.

My eyes widened and turned to my friends. “Please tell me what I remembered was not real.”

Tumawa si Hera. “It is very real, Pau.”

Kinuha ko ang unan at nilagay ang mukha ko d’on bago sumigaw. What the hell, Pauline, you are very stupid last night!

I almost exposed my ability! In front of Warner! THE horrible and annoying Warner! Tapos? Tapos anong nangyari? Bakit wala akong maalala? Most of all, bakit ako nalasing!

“Did you guys got drunk, too?” I asked, horrified, looking at their fresh and well-rested faces.

Umiling si Cyran, mahinang tumatawa habang pinagmamasdan ang reaction ko. 

Bully!

“You’re half-human, dumbshit!” Sabi ni Xavier sa’kin, inagaw niya ang hawak ‘kong unan para lang ibato sa mukha ko pabalik.

What the hell…

“We thought you’re not gonna get drunk since half of your DNA is Bleanrithian but then Raine explained to us a while ago that your Bleanrithian DNA will just slow down the process of human alcohol in your body,” explain ni Sara sa’kin.

Nilagay ko na naman ang mukha ko sa unan at mariin na pumikit. “That is just so unfair!” I shouted annoyingly.

Curse you, human DNA. Hindi ko naman ginusto magkaron ng human DNA sa dugo ko.

“Ano pa ang nangyari kagabi? The last time I remember is when I was with Warner,” I said, concerned, as I bit my lip and look at my friends with begging eyes.
