I let out a sigh as I waited for the man we had found to wake up. He was a clone trooper who had been in stasis.
"(Y/n).... must protect.... (Y/n)... and (f/n).." He grumbled out.
I frowned as I looked over at the man sleeping. He was calling my name and my father's.... and it was weird. How could he know our names if we have never met?
"No!" He yelled as he shot up.
"Easy." I said as I forced him to lay back down.
"(Y/n)?" He asked questionably.
"How do you know my name?" I asked softly.
"It's me... Kix." He said softly.
"Kix... as in Clone Medic Kix?" I asked shocked.
"You're not my (Y/n)." He said softly.
"No... I think I'm your granddaughter." I said softly.
"My granddaughter... how long have I been out?"
"50 years."
"The Jedi... there is a plan to kill them. The clones have-"
"Chips.... we know. I'm sorry but it already happen." I said as I looked away from him.
"What happen to (Y/n)?"
"She died saving my father... he was five." I explained.
He let out a sigh and looked away.
"And (F/n)?"
"He was killed during the fight against the empire.... the inquisitors found us and he wasn't able to fight them all... he was able to send me away before he was killed."
"How old where you?"
"I was ten."
"How old are you now?"
"Eighteen."
"I'm sorry." He said as he looked away.
"Don't be... I got a lot longer with him then you did." I said softly.
It didn't take long for me to learn about him and my grandmother. He told me how they met and how stubborn she was.
"She sounds like me." I said with a laugh.
"Yea I thought that when I saw you." He said with a smile.
I sent him a smile and continued to listen.
"There was this one time that your mother threw me and Captain Rex off a moving fighter. Thankfully General Skywalker was there to catch us." He said with a laugh.
"Did she know he was there?"
"You know... I have no idea." He said calmly.
It felt weird to meet my grandfather who looked ten years older then me, but it also felt relaxing to know I still had family.
"So... what about your mother... you never told me about her." Kix said as he helped me clean the medbay.
I froze up and he looked up at me.
"I'm sorry, if it's a rough subject-"
"She was an inquisitor.... she was using my father to find Jedi... and well... she didn't expect to have me. I was forced to kill her to save my friends lives." I explained.
"I'm sorry." He said softly.
"Stop saying sorry, you couldn't of stopped any of this. The Emperor was one step ahead of everything and know one realized it." I said softly.
"Fives did, but no one listened."
"No one ever does." I said softly.
"So.... are you dating anyone?"
"Gramps!"
"What! I'm curious." He said with a laugh.
"I'm not.... dating anyone... yet. There is the person I like, but... well I don't know if they like me." I said softly.
"Do they have a name?"
"(C/n) (crush name) (gender not stated)." I said with a blush.
"Need me to talk to them for you?"
"Don't you dare!"
He let out a laugh and I sent him a smile.
"Thank you." I said softly.
"For what?"
"For everything." I said with a smile.
He ruffled my hair up and I smiled as he showed me some tricks.
