SKERPLA DAY OF TYR

Everything was complete. I had already awakened and changed myself to Lady Trevory of Helia who was a relative of one of the Crusaders. The ball held at the palace of Helia was exclusive to royals or people who had blood connections with royalties. It was similar to the Twilight Party in terms of the guest list but the party we would attend was a political one rather than a banquet.

"Let's go?" Reichen invited and held the door open.

He was wearing a fine dress shirt and black coat yet he looked so attractive and carried himself like an aristocrat. Along with that face, he could rival nobles I know in terms of handsomeness.

I nodded and went outside. My gaze directed to Night who was with our companions. He and Sullien were obviously making fun of Lander whose exasperation was evident.

They were three carriages behind them since we decided to meet in the headquarters first to run up our plan. As for Willow, she had another mission and could not come to the party.

"Good, you're here. I can't keep up with these two bastards," said Blaze when we reached them.

"Well, we only said the truth. You are such a hopeless case to fall in love with someone betrothed," stated Sullien.

"It was better than falling in love with my superior despite being rejected many times."

"Fvcking idiot. She did not reject me. I rejected her," Night shot back. "What are you laughing at, Sullien? For all I know, you were infatuated with this twat's sister but she never sees you as a man."

It was quite a scene to me as I watched them bicker on their romantic entanglements. It was a first seeing Night have a friendly squabble, unlike the petty fights he had with Reichen.

Night had always been a complete mystery for me. His masked face showed his expressive eyes and his lips spouted crudity every time it was opened but I was never able to picture his whole appearance. I never knew who he was.

"What are we even arguing about when there's a man here who was pining for someone since she was a child and making all kinds of tricks to make her fall," noted Sullien as he eyed Reichen on my side which earned a kick from the latter.

"You really do have a talent for talking in your dreams, Sullien. You should get going or I might do something if you piss me off. Perhaps making you confess to Princess Priscilla will be a brilliant idea, won't it?" threatened Reichen with a bright smile on his lips.

"Hell no! I seriously hate that magic of yours."

"I concur," followed by Blaze.

"I hate this bastard himself," declared Night.

"If you are done professing your affections we should get going by now," said Reichen and led me to the carriage door.

"Oh. Such a gentleman. Where did the uncouth friend of mine disappear to?" teased Sullien.

"Must be an impostor with his lie---"

The two quickly shut up the moment Reichen turned to them and raised their hands in surrender.

"Fine, fine," they both said simultaneously.

"We'll see you later," said Sullien.

"Don't fvcking do anything with her, got it? If I learned you made a damn move to Ace. I swear all your secrets are out and I'll beat you black and blue that your father won't even recognize you."

"Goodness. Stop it, Night," I complained.

It was so embarrassing. Why was he even assuming such things? It would simply make things awkward.
