    Juniper felt herself tense up a bit as she could see from the corner of her eye that Draco Malfoy was watching her. He stood about ten inches taller than her, making her feel smaller than she truly was. She kept her eyes away from meeting his, staring either at Snape or at the ground until he dismissed them, where she walked away extremely quick, leaving the potions classroom to begin her rounds for the night.
"Forgetting something?" Juniper heard a voice call from behind her, causing her to stop in her tracks and turn to face the white-haired boy who was giving her a devilish smirk.
"And what would I be forgetting?" Juniper asked, crossing her arms at the boy who had already given her so much trouble.
"I believe Snape told you to fill me in on what I missed." The boy said as he walked closer to Juniper. She could see why the two Slytherin girls were attracted to him. His white hair was smooth, glistening in the moonlight, his pale skin illuminated the hallways, accentuating his handsome features. He was tall and walked with confidence, his clothes fitted him so she could see he was fit under them.
"Right." Juniper nodded, sighing. "Pretty self explanatory, you see any students walking around you're supposed to punish them. Give them detention. First offense is one detention, second is two, third you refer them to their head of house." Juniper explained to him. The smirk was still plastered on his face.
"So, we get to break the rules by walking around and punish others for being up." Draco nodded to her, beginning to walk, she followed him closely, coming up next to him. She could smell his cologne emanating off his robes, to which also explained why girls found him so intriguing; he smelled absolutely wonderful, like a mix of mahogany and chocolate.
"Precisely, yes." Juniper nodded as they continued to check corridors for students. The hallways were extremely quiet as the two Prefects walked together side by side, Juniper feeling quite nervous yet enraged with Draco as she wanted to tell him off for causing trouble between the girls. "Lucky for us no ones breaking the rules tonight. We can go back to the common room." Juniper's soft voice broke the silence in the hallways as they finished their corridor rounds. Draco watched her closely as the went back toward the dungeons. The way she carried herself slightly pissed Draco off, she radiated innocence and beauty, and he so badly wanted to stop her right there in the corridor and kiss her, but he kept himself composed and refrained from making any movements.
"I was kind of hoping there would be students breaking the rules." He told her as the neared the common room.
"And why's that?" Juniper asked him right before she spoke the password to enter the common room.
"Because then I'd have an excuse to spend more time with you." He lowered his head so he spoke quietly in her ear, his breath was hot against her skin, sending shivers to go right up her spine. She scoffed at the words, knowing he was only trying to get one thing out of her.
"Don't try to embarrass me like that, Malfoy. We both know you only want one thing from me and that's it. Now if you'll excuse me I have homework to do, so I suggest you go find Pansy Parkinson." She said coldly to him.
"Ouch, you're quite bitter aren't you, love?" His voice was teasingly annoying so she decided to walk away rather than get into any further dispute with the Prefect. Juniper knew this year would be difficult dealing with Malfoy and she didn't look forward to it at all. Draco, however, was looking forward to working with her. He knew by just looking at her, just meeting her once, that he had to have her. Maybe it was her honey skin, or her rose colored lips, or maybe because she carried herself so innocently and he, Draco Malfoy, was not innocent. He wanted to find a way to get to know her better, hoping potions class might be the place to do that.
    Blair entered Juniper's dormitory not long after she returned from her rounds with Draco. Blair was extremely eager to learn of who the mystery boy was that was driving girls absolutely mad.
    "Well? Who is it?" Blair didn't waste any time asking questions. Juniper felt herself sigh as Blair handed her the rest of the potions homework that Snape assigned.
    "It's Draco bloody Malfoy." She said bitterly. "How he got the Prefect position is a mystery to me, but I think it's because Snape is close with his mother and father." Juniper admitted to Blair.
    "He's the other Prefect?" Blair questioned even though she knew the answer already. Juniper rolled her eyes and nodded.
    "Yes and he's a bloody brute too. Practically tried to seduce me within ten minutes of talking to me." Juniper could feel her blood boiling, which caused Blair to actually let out a laugh. "What's so funny?" Juniper asked her friend.
    "I mean is it really such a bad thing?" Blair must've been out of her goddamn mind is all Juniper could think. How could she suggest that doing anything with Draco Malfoy would be good?
    "Have you lost your mind because I'll help you find it!" Juniper practically shouted, sending Blair into a fit of laughter once again.
    "He's attractive and obviously does no strings attached, you won't be getting any of that from Zabini this year, so maybe Malfoy could take that place." Blair nudged. Juniper couldn't help but be slightly intrigued, but also slightly disgusted with the thought of it. She didn't want to just be another one of his quick fucks and nothing else, she didn't want to be like Pansy Parkinson or Yasmine Dane.
    "No, no, I don't want that." Juniper said as she shook her head. "At least not with him." She added. Juniper finished the potions homework, handing Blair the assignment back and putting her's in her bag. "I'm going to go to bed I think. I'll see you tomorrow." Juniper said as she grabbed her pajamas out of her trunk at the end of the bed. Blair nodded and left the dormitory, going to her own, leaving Juniper to be with her thoughts alone.
    She tried desperately to get the white-haired boy out of her head, but alas he was stuck there. She couldn't help but feel flattered and yet insulted that he tried to make a move on her so quickly. Flattered because she appreciated that she now knew he found her attractive. Insulted because she now knew he might think of her as easy to get with. Juniper laid there staring at the ceiling of the dormitory with the boy engrained in her thoughts, not knowing that in the room on the opposite side of the hallway, the white-hair boy couldn't get her out of his thoughts.
    Draco sat against the windowsill, watching the Black Lake diligently as he attempted to get Juniper Hartley out of his head, but it was damn near impossible. He hated that he couldn't stop thinking about her, the way her hair smelled of passion fruit when he whispered in her ear, how he could smell vanilla and honey radiating off her skin from either a body wash or perfume. He was consumed with the thoughts that even when Pansy Parkinson came knocking at the door and entering even when uninvited, he told her to leave.
"Leave, Pansy." He said without looking at her for more than a second.
"Oh, come on, Draco, you know you want to." Pansy cooed to him. For once he was actually slightly disgusted with how desperate she was being. Disgusted with Pansy, disgusted with Yasmine, disgusted with himself of all people. He hated that he let himself do these things, and it was all because of some honey-scented green-eyed girl he barely knew.
"No, I don't want to. Not now, not ever. And it's Malfoy to you." Draco said bitterly to Pansy. He felt slightly bad for saying these things because he knew she'd most likely get her feelings hurt, but part of him didn't care at all. Pansy left without saying a word, leaving Draco to his thoughts again about the girl with the honey-scented skin. He got into bed, still thinking about her and wondered if she thought of him too. He had no clue that Juniper laid in bed thinking about the white-haired boy that smelled sweetly of chocolate and mahogany.
