The ring of the school bell and people laughing echoed in the halls as I walked out of my history class, My backpack was slung on my shoulder as I meet up with one of my best friends Julie, she was looking down but I knew she saw me. I walked with her to her locker and put my back on the locker next to her. As I started to reach into my backpack to get some gum I heard someone say
"Hey underachiever" I didn't have to look up to know that it was the one and only Flynn.
"Hey disappointment" Julie and I both said in unison as I popped a piece of gum into my mouth. I ran my fingers threw my hair and turn to Julie's locker and put my own books in.
"Still you know you have your own locker" Flynn said looking at me, I smiled at her and tilt my head
"My whole locker is pretty much in her locker." I crossed my arms and then grabbed my own things for music at the same time that Julie did. "But anywayyyyy" I said and Flynn jumped in
"Okay so have you picked what you are going to today?" We both looked at Julie and she sighed
"I'll know in the moment" she said and then somewhat shrugged.
"Really Julies?" We both said in unison but Flynn continued "That's all your giving us? Mrs. Harrison said this is your last chance" I nodded towards Flynn and then said
"What would you do without music in your life!" Julie laughed a bit and then stated
"I know I was there" she smiled at both of us and then we all heard the devil herself say
"See you at the rally!" I rolled my eyes already annoyed with her voice.
"Ugh what is she handing out?" Flynn asked as she walked over to us, once she got to us she handed Flynn a flyer and in her perky voice said
"Here you go! My group is preforming at the spirit rally tomorrow!" I rolled my eyes and looked over Flynn's shoulder and read the flyer " I'm sure you guys have nothing else to do"
I looked up at her put my hands into small jazz hands and then said "Oh my gosh Carrie Thanks! I totally wont be there!" the sarcasticness dripping off of my voice. The girl looked at me and then put a fake smile on her face
"Oh my gosh Olive don't bother coming!" she said and then did a little smiled and twirled back around and walked away from us.
"Seems like you got your answer" I pulled my book to my chest and then sighed and looked at Julie who was staring at Nick. I sighed once again and then asked "Really Jules? Nick? Still?"
"Right! Everyone knows that they are going to get married and have a bunch of un holy babies!" Flynn said making me laugh.
"But Nick's a sweetheart" Julie said and then blushed a bit
"Yeah pretty sure you have to talk to him to know that" I replied
"And plus only one of them has to be a demon to make a demon baby!" The dark haired girl said and I nodded "Demon!" Flynn and I again said in unison making Carrie look over at us. I put on my best show smile and sent it to her while the other two girls looked away.
I shook my head and laughed lightly "There's that smile" Flynn said and then poked Julies cheek.
"Common we have to go show everyone who's boss" I put my arm around Julies neck and then started walking to class.

The sound of Nick playing guitar filled my ears. My leg was crossed over my lap and to say I was 100% listening to Nick play would be a lie. My notebook was opened on my lap and I was currently writing, as of right now I don't know what I'm writing but I'm hoping that it will come to me soon.
The sound of applause brought me out of my own world, My book found it way to my bag as I heard Mrs. Harrison start to say "Nice job Nick...Almost as impressive as your game agents Glendale" I rolled my eyes and looked around and my eyes landed on Julie, I sent her a smile and a thumbs up
"Okay we have one last performance, Julie" our teacher smiled and walked forward and looked at Julie. I took a deep breath in as she stood up. She slowly walked over to the piano and then sat down after opening her book. "Take your time" Mrs. Harrison said to her
My leg was bouncing up and down, anxiety pumped threw my veins, All of my attention was on Julie. Her hands were about to pouch the piano when she pulled them away, Flynn and I both stood up. Julie then stood up and said
"I'm sorry" i closed my eyes and sighed.
"Is this where we clap?" Carrie said, Since i was right behind her I pushed her chair a bit and then snapped
"Shut up Carrie" Julie pushed away from the piano and walked out of the room Flynn and I hot on her trail.
