"Wait! Stop packing!" Oscar jumps into my room.

"What?" I almost laugh.

"Stay another week-"

"Are you crazy? I gotta go home, I have to work and-"

"Kat!" Ludy come running in right behind her husband. "I don't know what to say, she only speaks English."

Ludy holds out my phone and I begin to pat at my jean pockets, confused as to when she took it and how she knew the password.

"What?" I ask even more confused as I take my phone from her. "Hello?"

"What is this?" Jen speaks. "I'm on my way to work and some Brazilian lady begins to talk to me?"

"Jen," I start. "Sorry, I don't know what's going on myself-"

"Ask for another week," Oscar starts.

"Are you crazy?" I cover the microphone of my phone.

"Come on," he pleads. "Celebrate your birthday here... With us."

The look in his big eyes makes me ask for what he wants.

"Another week?" Jen almost asks in disbelief. "A-and what? No article from you for the month? We may have to fire you-"

"An article? What do you want it on? I'll send it to you by midnight tomorrow-"

"London? More soccer players?" I can sense the smirk on her face from across the Atlantic. "A little double page issue on the Chelsea Football Club's 'hottest players' would be great. Yeah, I may consider the extra week if you grant me that, Liset is off in Germany actually so maybe I can ask her to get to a soccer club too, a little exposé-"

"You got it!" I yell. "A-and I can set up that football club thing for you! Which club did you have in mind for Liset?"

"I don't know any of the clubs... Get me the one with the hottest players," Jen speaks.

"That's not specific," A grin spreads on my face.

"Look, Kat-"

"Okay, okay, I'll call up the captain of Borussia Dortmund, he's a friend of mine," I interrupt her. "Text me Liset's number and I'll make the call right away, then I'll get started on the interviews."

"Bringing soccer to America- I mean football. I like it," Jen starts. "I'll ask Miranda about the extra week, if this issue doesn't pay off no more breaks."

"I got it, I won't let you down," I begin to smile and jump a little, the expressions on the couple lost in translation in front of me beings to change. "Thanks so much, Jen."

"Yeah, yeah, get to it Miss Football."

The call ends after that and I jump a little.

"I got another week!" I go and hug the two at the same time.

They cheer along with me before I begin to remember it wasn't my intention.

"Wait," I let go and back up. "Why?"

"We wanted to throw you a little party," Ludy starts. "To cheer you up a little."

"Small gathering," Oscar assures me. "We called your friend Chelsea, well emailed her and used a translating website."

"She's on her honeymoon here," I realize. "No, don't bother them with that."

"She wanted to," Oscar says. "Call her yourself. So, what'd you have to bargain for?"

"An interview with some of the Chelsea players and some Bundesliga players for a co-worker of mine... For tomorrow," I clench my teeth.

"That's a lot," Ludy raises her eyebrows. "Call up the boys, sweetie," she orders Oscar who complies.
