6- Jealousy and Friendship

As you and your new friends walked through the dark world you where both amazed and bored, why bored?
Because you thought that there was going to be monsters to fight, but there wasn't that much, and if they where Susie, Ralsei and Kris would battle it instead. After all, you were only walking with them, nothing big, it was a cool place though.
"So, you wanted to listen to the legend?" The little fluffy boy said
"Kris told me about the legend, but not what it is about..." you responded
Ralsei responded with "Oh! Well I guess that I have to tell you, resumed of course: Once they where both places, light and dark and they all had a balance, one day, the Earth started to crack. The DELTARUNE had begun" Susie applied with
"DELTARUNE is like some storm of catastrophe... so yeah, it's really bad" She said in a sad tone... why would she? And Kris also continued "There where a HUMAN, a MONSTER, and the PRINCE OF DARKNESS—" he was interrupted by Ralsei
"Also, Kris? I read some books I had about the legend, they didn't mentioned this, but at the end it said and I Quote... 'The darkness was filling in... darker, and darker, yet darker. The world above was on its peak, all heroes where almost down... but eventually could find way to stop DELTARUNE... The HUMAN however, slowly became weaker and weaker... the HUMANS LOVE was sadden about this and tried to revive them... It didn't worked as they thought so'" Ralsei explained
"Well... that is something new.... did it just popped out of the book?" Susie asked
"I-I think so... the page seemed so old... and bloody for some reason... I don't understand this... but we have to!" Ralsei expanded his words...

*Hearing the HUMANS LOVE made you think...

"Kris..." you looked at them... you couldn't see their eyes... but you could tell the shock and fear they had. You put a hand on their shoulders...

". . . . Am. . . Am I going to die. . . ?" They broke their silence... Still shivering, and now breathing heavily while they looked over at Ralsei
"N-No!! You don't die Kris!! Me, Susie and Y/N are going to make sure that you star alive!! I... I promise!! Just please! Don't be scared—" Kris cut the fluffy goat off
"What if I can't be revived?!" They screamed
"Woah!! Dude calm down!" Susie patted their back
"SUSIE I DON'T CARE!! I CAN'T CALM DOWN AFTER THE LEGEND, I AM GOING TO DIE!!" They kept on screaming

*Kris's bangs moved over a little... You could see the terror in his deep red ruby eyes...

You blushed a little when you just for a second saw their eyes, Red.... just like blood... just like a gem... just like their soul...
"Kris... hey..." You said grabbing their cheeks and making them look to you "Look... we are going to be okey... you are not going to die... you will be okey... you hear me?" You said while smiling at them, you felt the tension they had calm a little bit... they blushed a lot by your touch
"Yeah... I-I am sorry Y/N...." they grabbed one of your hands and give a weak smile
"It's okey" you simply said, still looking at their eyes...

*You feel odd... but happy... maybe hypnotized by Kris's eyes...

Ralsei smiled happily and said "okey, I am sorry for all of this, maybe we can have a little bit of cake before you guys leave?" Susie started drooling
"OH HELL YEAH!! You know how much I love food!!" she said with Lancer on her head, and they all started walking
"Oh— you can stay here for a little longer if you can! We will be inside the castle!" Ralsei smiled again and entered his home, you wanted to follow him but you felt cold arms hugging you
"Uh—" you turned to see Kris hugging you... still not hiding their eyes... "You know? I think I might have something for your hair, I... I am not going to lie, they look beautiful" you stated, which in response they hugged you tighter and nodded
"Y/N... Let's stay outside for a while... I want to keep on hugging you..." they said in their low, raspy voice
"Well, if you want to, I really think that Ralsei didn't mean't that, he seems like a really cute guy!"
Kris looks at you shocked
"You think he is cute...?" They asked
"Yeah...? Why wou—" they interrupted you
"Do YOU think that I am also cute?" They whispered to your hear, which made you blush a lot, still not letting you go from the hug
"W-Well, you are also really cute, a-and... and also really flirty and cool" you said with a little difficulty since they where breathing near your neck...

*Kris smiles at you! But something is off with his smile

"Kris... are you crushing on me?" You asked them without hesitation... they felt quiet...
"Why?" They got near your ear again and whispered "You are interested?~" Their voice was so— Different, you blushed even more
"I-I mean— we just met, M-maybe in a near future we can do so...?" They seemed disappointed and let you go
"Alright then... Just... please don't fall for another..." They said before walking into the castle and you following from behind...
