chapter 25- finding the mole

Alpha damiens p.o.v.

We walked downstairs to the pack kitchen seeing a lot of pack member. Alpha kane called out his warrior florence as I called my warrior james out.

James and florence looked extremely nervous, fidgeting on the spot. We walked back to alpha kanes office.

"Sit" alpha kane demanded.

They both sat down stealing glances at eachother. Myself and alpha kanes eyes where colder then ice making them not look into our eyes.

"So you guys are mates huh" I asked.

Not everyone knows myself and keaton are mates. Only higher up packs. These two have only ever been in the office when duty calls and it's about patrolling the area. This is why I doubt more that they have done this.

They stared wide eyes at us both.

"I-well please dont kick us out the pack alpha damien. I'm sorry we just I know you all dont like gay mates but I love him" my warrior, james replied while stuttering.

I rose an eyebrow at him never seeing any of my men stutter like this. Its understandable though as we are alphas and he is only a warrior. My pack or should I say my father does not like gays so I understand he is going to be worried.

I hummed at him.

"Have you guys been in alpha kanes office without anyone noticing. Or better yet have you put any kind off device in this office for alpha drake. " I questioned in my alpha voice giving them no room to fight against it.

They looked at us confused.

"No alpha damien we have not." Warrior james said.

I believe him as I can tell he is not lying. His heartbeat stayed the same but if he was lying it would beat faster. I could also tell by the confused face that they had no idea what we was talking about.

I nodded my head.

"I have no problem with you being gay. " I said softly.

They looked at us with wide eyes in surprise. I looked to alpha kane to see if he feels we can trust them and should let them know what's happening. Alpha kane nodded his head saying he trusts them.

"My mate is keaton. Myself is also gay. My father has problems with gays however I do no nor have I ever. I do not agree with how my father treats gays even if i was not gay myself. " i said.

They looked shocked and not knowing what to say.

"I will be challenging my father for his position. Therefore i will be removing gay people being slaves in our pack when I win. Not if I win but when. I know I will win but I want to know if I can trust you." I said.

"Really. Yes of course you can trust us." Warrior james said.

"Whatever you want or need we will be here alpha kane and alpha damien" florence replied.

I nodded my head in thanks.

"What do you know on warrior John, james" alpha kane asked.

"Erm not much alpha kane. He seems to keep to himself. I think he knows we are gay though as he always pulls faces at us. Wait omg he was being strange the other day. He came out your office as I went to sneakly meet up with florence but he said you told him to grab something but he couldn't find it when I asked why he was in there. Now that i think about it, that was strange. But other then that I know nothing about him" he said blushing a little at sneakly going to see his mate.
