— ISABELLA MARCHED QUICKLY through the ministry hallways until she reached her office where Lucius Malfoy stood waiting for her. She had asked Paul to bring the man to her office so she could have a word with him. She really wanted to punch him in the face but that wouldn't look good for her, either he being minister and all.

"Come in" Isabella said, leading him into her office. "So what's the problem Miss Love?" He asked, standing in-front of her desk as she sat in her chair. "Don't act as though you don't know Malfoy, it's not a good look in you" she told him leaning back in her seat. "I'm sorry but I really just insist that I don't know what I'm doing here" He insisted, perhaps hoping that he could trick her out of thinking it was him.

"Fine, if that's the way we're doing this I've got a rather interesting story to tell you Mr Malfoy" She stated, looking up at him with a fake, sarcastic smile. "I just so happened to be in Diagon Alley yesterday and met a bunch of angry protesters so I decided to ask the leader what was going on, do you know what she told me?" She questioned.

"She told me that I had told you to fire the lot of them because they weren't doing their job properly" She explained to him as though she were talking to a child. "Now I don't know about you Malfoy, but that conversation really doesn't ring any bells, does it?" She asked him and she knew she had her answer when he looked away and rolled his eyes without answering her.

"Does it Mr Malfoy?" She pressed and nodded when he said no reluctantly. "Now" She began, standing up from her seat and leaning on her table in-front of her. "I really should just fire you right now Malfoy" She informed him. "I mean what are you actually here for, it can't possibly be for money because I know you and your family certainly don't need any more of that" She noted.

"In fact Lucius, I have every mind to think that you're not actually here for the ministry, I feel like you might be here on behalf of someone else" she told him making his eyes narrow. "What are you trying to insinuate Miss Love?" He questioned; his head held high as he looked at her with distaste. "You know exactly what I'm insinuating Malfoy so don't start with that again" she said immediately.

"You know, one of your employees told me that they had to wait five weeks until they were paid, what's that all about?" She questioned, trying to keep her anger from rising more. "I was busy" He shrugged, clearly wanting her to just get it over with but she wasn't done, she had a lot to say to this man.

"You have absolutely no idea what it's like out there for people who need to work for money. Making them wait five weeks for a pay check is beyond a joke Malfoy. People need that money more than you know but your head is too far up your own arse to even realise what it's like in the real world. You're in no position to treat them like that" She ranted to him, she knew he would tell people about this conversation and she'd get backlash but she was quite honestly past the point of caring. The faces he was making at her have her every reason not to care.

"I'm their boss, that's my position Miss Love" He argued, walking closer to her desk. "You can't call yourself the boss if you don't pay them Malfoy" Isabella pointed out, her arm flailing around. "Why did you fire them Malfoy?" She questioned, wanting the truth from the man who set them up. "They were behind on work" he said simply making Isabella's jaw drop slightly. "That's because you gave them it late so it all just kept piling up on them!" She told him.

"You dug the whole that made you fire them, so its nots they're fault. No wonder they're so miserable" she told him but he just sighed angrily. "We'll if they were that bothered they didn't have to work there" He stated making Isabella's anger bubble over. "Oh my god" She whispered in shock. "They don't have to work there? Oh my god, how dare you say something like that!" She just couldn't wrap her head around what the man had told her.

"You disrespectful, disgusting man" She spat making his face turn dark. "I don't think you realise how lucky you are because if it wasn't for your employees you'd have been out of a job years ago but I know that means nothing to you because you too stuck up to know what it's like to put an actual honest graft into your work" she told him about to go full time on him.

"The work doesn't revolve around you Malfoy as much as you probably like to think it does! It's not all about you. You're not the great Gatsby and you're not the lord of the manner like you clearly think you are due to the horrific array of clothes you're wearing" Isabella couldn't help but let out a shocked laugh as she spoke. "Excuse me" Lucius hissed angrily. "Go on them you pompous twat" She spat, looking him up and down.

"Don't talk to me like that" he said stepping towards her so they were now only a meter apart. "What's wrong with it? What's wrong with the way I'm talking to you?" She questioned but continued before he could answer. "Get your head out your arse and start getting a little more real" she told him.

"All I've heard since you've been in this room is you blaming people" Isabella pointed out. "We'll I'm blaming you, for not taking charge" she told him, walking closer to him. "Get. Fucking. Real" she said, her hand slightly banging on the table either very word she says. "Go pack you stuff Lucius, I don't want to see you in the building while I'm in office" she said, now right in his face. It was clear he was trying hard not to slap her but he pushed through it and just let out a low scoff before matching from her room, slamming the door as he went.

Not even a moment later the door opened up again and in walked Paul, James, Remus and Sirius. "Dear merlin he is one prick" Sirius scoffed, closing the door behind him. James immediately walked over to Isabella to check on her. "Are you okay, he didn't hurt you or anything did he?" James asked quietly making her shake her head gently, a small smile on her face.

"Sorry Paul but this might just be giving you more work, no doubt he'll go and tell some reporter" Isabella sighed, feeling bad for the trouble this might have caused. "Don't you worry your pretty little head about any of that, that's my problem not yours. Plus how can I be mad, that was amazing, I'd even go as far to say it was of the best things you've ever done" Paul told her as he laid back in the couch in her room. "Wait you guys were listening that whole time?" She asked, looking at them all.

"You can thank James for that" Remus explained as he looked at her book collection on a nearby shelf. "Just in case you needed backup" He shrugged with a small laugh that Isabella couldn't help but copy.
