Going for a Run

Scarlett's POV

After last night minutes away from Damien feels like hours. I wonder if that has to do with completing the mating process. Probably.

Ugh if I keep thinking about him Then I'm going to drive myself crazy.

Looking over to the other side of the couch I see Jace asleep on the couch. He's so adorable when he sleeps.

Suddenly I get this really strong urge to shift and go for a run. I don't know why but the urge was so strong that I just found myself outside going toward the woods. Shifting into my white wolf I break out into a run, except it wasn't me it's Raine.

Dodging trees left and right my powerful paws beating at the ground with every step I take. This is what it's like to be free, free from the worry and the pain, just simply running without a thought to ruin it. I get to the edge of a lake. Sitting by the edge, I lay in the sun light. The warm light on my fur is a feeling that I've missed so much. Since I left Eli I haven't shifted to scared that he'd find me. Now that that's over I don't have to worry about it.

I don't know how long I was laying by the lake before I caught his sent. Not even a minute later I see his wolf come through the bushes. The sight of her mate has Raine practically purring, wanting him to touch her she gets up and goes to his side rubbing up against him. Hearing a deep growl coming from her mate, Raine nips playfully at him and starts sprinting.

Damien gives into the chase and we run through the woods for hours, only stopping when it's pitch black out.

"Scarlett, it's time to go inside" Damien says in his human form.

Whimpering slightly, because I don't want to go inside, I shift back to my human. Honestly I don't care if I'm naked, it's not like it isn't something that he hasn't seen before. Although being the girl I am, I walk past him swaying my hips as I go.

Hearing him growl deep in his throat is probably the hottest thing that I've ever heard to be completely honest, but I would never tell him that of course. Grabbing my clothes I quickly change, and next thing I know I'm over Damien's shoulder.

Go me, I get to be the lazy person I truly am, I don't have to walk. Might as well enjoy the view though, and what a fine view it is.

"Scarlett I can hear your thoughts" he says slapping me on my ass.

"Well either deal with it or stop listening" I grumble slapping his backside.

As soon as we enter the pack house Damien heads upstairs. I don't protest when he lays me on the bed because I'm just that tired.

Cuddling into his chest, I quickly fall into a deep and peaceful sleep.

I have resurfaced from the living dead! I am so sorry guys that I haven't been updating, over the summer I go to camp all summer with no WiFi, and I'm currently in my senior year so I'm completely swamped trying to beat senioritous..... I'll try to upload more, I know I got alot of time to make up for, please don't kill me?!?!?
