"Scar! Time to get up!" my brothers screeches before launching himself on to me.
Ugh, I was so sore all over and Jace wasn't helping. "Get off me big ogre!" I wined.
Jace simply laughed and darted out of my room. I quickly looked down at my hip and found that he open the cuts. Great.
I hop out of the bed and quickly get in the shower and dressed before heading downstairs. My parents are no-where in sight, not that it's a big surprise. They haven't been around for awhile I'm surprised that they come around at all.
Today I turn 17, what a big year. Today starts the day that I can find my mate. I'm excited to meet my mate, but I'm also really really scared. I know that I'll be rejected, and rejection drives a wolf insane. Without their mate it's like they're only half a person and most end up committing suicide over it.
I'm pulled out of my thoughts by Jace jumping on my back. Well, that's definitely my brother for you. "What's for breakfast Scar?" huh I haven't really thought about that... I guess I don't really think about food a lot.
"Well, what do you want" I ask, finally managing to get him off of me.
"How about pancakes! " he jumps up excitedly.
Wow, doesn't take much to please this kid does it. "Okay, but you better be getting ready for school otherwise I'll eat all the pancakes by myself" I fix him with my best stern glare.
He gasps and runs upstairs, I hear him shouting "you'll never get my pancakes alive!" before he disappears into his room. Shaking my head I go to the kitchen with a grin on my phase. Before I was even done putting the pancakes on the plate Jace was at the table, book bag on the side of him.
With Jace having his breakfast I go upstairs to get ready for school. I don't have much, just straitening my hair and applying light makeup. After twenty minutes I had my keys in hand and was on my way driving Jace to school before heading to high school.
