Today's special sitting of Parliament was to have been the day when the question of the vexed Withdrawal Agreement should have been decided for good. Unfortunately the habitual saboteur Oliver Letwin threw another procedural spanner in the works, and as a result the government have decided to postpone the 'meaningful vote' until Tuesday the 22nd.

Whether BoJo will abide by the Benn Act and write a formal letter to the EU Council requesting a further Article 50 extension, and if so asked, Brussels grant it remains to be seen at the time of writing. We're about to find out who has a backbone and who is all mouth and trousers.
