Jackson turned off each light one by one and then looked over at his boss, before approaching with a smirk on his face and teased, "Boss, did you really marry that beautiful teacher?"

In the beginning, Tan Jiu was the original owner of this restaurant, but because of his poor management, was unable to achieve any real success. However, because he wasn't a native of Seoul, he couldn't just give up and go home, so he handed it over to Lisa when she applied for the job.

And because of his muscular and tall stature, Lisa thought that it would be good to keep him as a bodyguard, at the very least. Not to mention, it was her first time opening a restaurant, so she was going in completely blind. In the end, she decided to keep him and the salary she offered him was quite generous.

And so, two years had passed since that day, and now the two of them were now the best of friends.

Therefore, the Jackson who had been by her side for so many years was naturally very surprised. His two eyes practically shouted his desire for some gossip.

As the two of them walked out the restaurant, hearing his question, Lisa knocked him on the head and asked, "Why do you ask? Do you think I'm not worthy enough for Miss Kim?"

"How can that be." Jackson locked the door, waved his hand, and replied with a smile, "Of course our boss is worthy of such a person, but the two of you don't seem like you're from the same social circles."

The next sentence he didn't dare to say: And you two don't act like a normal married couple.

In his understanding, newlyweds acted lovey dovey towards each other and tended to stick together like two peas in a pod. However, when it came to his boss' marriage, it seemed more like a subordinate relationship, with his boss being the subordinate in the relationship that is desperately trying to cling onto the other.

But of course, he didn't dare to say this to Lisa.

Lisa glanced at him, "What do you mean?"

Jackson exposed a silly smile, and rubbed his hands, "That lady seemed rather proper with a scholarly air around her," seeing his boss' glare he quickly added, "not that you aren't proper yourself boss, it's just that you...."

Jackson looked her up and down.

Lisa knew what he meant, and unconsciously touched the pink highlights in her hair. At the time, she had thought it would look good on her. Glancing down at her clock, it was already two in the morning, "Alright, I'll see you later. Stay safe, bye."

Since her place was only a thousand meters away, and she knew a little bit of self-defense, Jackson didn't need to escort her home.

Lisa tucked her hands into her pocket, "It's been getting cold lately." Saying so, she took out a cigarette, lit it, and then spit out a puff.

Meanwhile, Jennie was earnestly grading her students' homework, but the words Lisa spoke earlier caused her heart to accelerate, distracting her from the tedious task.

If Lisa was a male, Jennie believed she wouldn't be this flustered. After all there had been at least eight or ten boys who had said the same thing. Maybe because Lisa is a girl of the same age as her, but that gentle yet determined gaze, would cause anyone to be unable to forget it.

Earlier.....

"Jennie, I want to pursue you."

Jennie looked at her and said nothing.

Lisa was not upset by the lack of reaction, and merely rubbed her hands together to say, "You don't have to worry about anything, I'll be the one pursuing. Although this is my first time pursuing someone, so if you feel uncomfortable about anything, I hope Teacher Kim will advise me."
