Part seven

*Ding Dong*

Maya run her fingers through her hair and walked to the door. She takes a deep breath and put her best smile on her face. But as soon as she sees the stunning brunette, she smiles even more.. if that's even possible.

"Hi Carina, good to see you. Come in" Maya said

Carina was still in looking at Maya up and down and up and down and eventually to her beautiful face.

"Ye-yeah sure of course I come in" Carina stutters and walked to the blond 

They both feel the tension immediately between te two of them. It's quiet and both didn't know what they can say to each other. They just stare at each other, not awkwardly but just in a good way. It just felt so right.

"You're house is amazing, such a nice neighbourhood here" Carina said so the silence broke between the two of them

"Thank you, I've lived here for like a year now, I'm so happy with it" Maya said directly after Carina stopped talking

"Wher-" Maya was saying but was cut off by Carina who started talking. They both smiled and laughed at each other. "I'm sorry what did you wanted to say" Carina said

"Do you live in this neighbourhood or-"

"Yes actually like a 10 minutes walk from yours" she said looking up at the bright blue eyes from the blonde

"Do you want coffee or something else? I have wine, beer, lemonade.. basically everything" Maya said not looking away from the brunettes eyes

"You know.. no coffee anymore because we can't handle that very well.. " the women laughed at the joke Maya made. Both happy that they can laugh about it now.

"Do you have Coca Cola Vanille?" The brunette asked but now looked at her tangled fingers because she was getting nervous because of the gorgeous women in front of her

"Well.." Maya laughed

"Basically I have everything.. except that one" they both laughed now

"Just Coca Cola or something is good, thank you" Carina said

Maya walked towards the kitchen, got two glasses and went to the refrigerator to got some Coca Cola.

"Here this one is for you" Maya said when she held out her hand with the glass of soda.

Carina was getting the glass out of her hand when she touched the fingers from Maya.

Both women froze for a moment. They looked in each other eyes and the tension between the two of them was back. "Sorry" Carina mumbled and quickly took her glass from Maya.

But the two of them still don't look away. Both lost in each other's eyes. Thinking the other one was so beautiful, and worried that only they felt that, and the other one not.

"So Carina, what do you do for living?" Maya asked breaking the silence again

"I'm an ob/gyn at Grey Sloan memorial hospital" Carina said with a smile "and you? I haven't even properly introduced myself, I'm so sorry" she said and then putting her hand in front of Maya to shake

"Dr. Carina Deluca" she said with a smile and the shiny brown eyes who were desperately looking for the bright blue ones

"Captain Maya bishop from station 19 fire department" Maya said, happily shaking Carinas hand and looking in to her beautiful eyes.

"Aha, so you're basically a hero" Carina said making Maya blush

"You have beautiful eyes, you know" Maya said to Carina still holding her hand and shaking it

"Thank you Maya, but don't get me started on yours". Carina said with a big smile
