"we're coming out now, get a stretcher and oxygen. we have to go to the hospital ASAP." Andy said to everyone through Maya's intercom.

As they continued through the house Maya almost past out again. "You're okay, you're going to be fine" Andy said to Maya but mostly to herself. "Why didn't I just listened to you" Andy said now almost crying to herself. "We are there come on Bishop stay with me"

As soon as they felt the outside air again Andy started coughing and held Maya till someone took her. Maya collapsed into Vic her arms and past out. "Omg. Maya. MAYA. Stay with me" Vic shouted

They put her on the stretcher and she had her eyes open again. They walked as fast as they could to the aid car. Andy was now sitting beside her bed.

Maya took off her mask "probably a broken shoulder, under my jacket second degree burns and my head hurts like hel. I think there is still something like glass in it" she said but soon was out of breath again. Everyone had tears in there eyes about what just happened in there.

"I'm okay guys, probably a couple of stitches and- and" Maya felt her self getting further and further away again

"We're here Maya, you're going to be okay" Vic said with tears in her eyes

"Yeah, Hughes. Don't worry okay" Maya said slowly again taking her mask off.

Possible broken shoulder, second degree burns and complains about headache. Andy said to Owen who was standing there.

It was now 6 pm and Carina was waiting for Maya outside of the hospital. It was cold, Carina was so nervous and she was shaking a little. She liked Maya a lot, and she didn't want to ruin it.

15 minutes later and Maya still didn't arrive. Carina tried calling her but it went straight to voicemail. This wasn't like Maya, she knew that about her, even like she knew the women for like two weeks. She texted Maya

Bella, it was tonight right?

Also no response. "So weird" she said now doubting herself that she said or did something bad.

She walked back inside to call an Uber so she could go home. Just when she walked in she saw Victoria standing in front of the coffee machine. She knew Victoria from Jackson and saw her a couple of times in the hospital and got along very well.

"Hey Vic, what are you doing here? Jackson is free tonight" Carina said

Vic turned around and Carina immediately saw that there was something wrong.

"Wo-wow sorry, What is wrong?" Carina asked concerned. Vic broke in tears and Carina hugged her tight. "Hey-Hey.. you're okay. What happened?" Carina said still hugging her

"Ou- our Captain..she- she got hurt" Vic said in tears.

As soon as Carina heard the words her stomach turnt upside down. "What? Maya? W-what? Is she okay? I was waiting for her" Carina said in disbelief

Victoria looked confused at her and than everything falls in to place. "You're the girl she can't stop talking about" Vic said with her mouth open. Carina still didn't get the answer she wanted so she asked again.

"She got in a burning house because someone from our team doubted the decision Maya made. She got herself in trouble because she didn't listened" Vic said, now angry at what happened at the scene

"She has a broken shoulder, second degree burns, a concussion and a couple of stitches on her head. She keeps getting unconscious, it's scary to see" Vic explained a little bit more why she cried.

"Bring me to her, please" Carina said with a cracked voice

Carina walked in and definitely saw that Maya was in a bad accident.

"Hi beautiful, I'm so sorry I couldn't make it to our first date. Im sorry I didn't text you, I lost my phone somewhere" Maya said still charming as she is and that made Carina smile

"Hi Bella, what did you do now?" Carina asked with a concern tone in her voice

"Nothing big I -I jus-just" Maya said when she passed out again. Vic was right, it was scary to see but she was back in no time. Carina took her hand in hers and Maya smiled.

"Hell of a first date, don't you think?" Maya laughed and Carina knew she was high on medicine now

"Not the first date I was hoping for, but I'm happy dat I'm here now" Carina said now kissing the top of her hand. Maya looked her in the eyes and again was just lost in them. They felt so safe.

"Who did this?" Carina then asked looking around at the firefighters. Andy was sniffing, raised her hand and said : "I did this, I didn't listen to her, I'm so fucking stupid" she started crying her eyeballs out. Everyone was still mad at her, but still she was part of the station family.

"It's okay Andy, it's okay. I'm glad that your fine" Maya said to her in a calm voice

Carina knew most of the things in life of Maya because of the last time they spoke and the constant texting they did.

"Andy??" Carina said her eyes looking to Maya back to Andy back to Maya. "As in best friend Andy??" Carina said angry tightening the grip on Maya's hand

"Carina.. please, just hold my hand nicely.. please. Everyone, can I have a minute please?" Maya said to the people who were in the room

"So.. what do you want to do at our first date? We can take a walk along the beach or just watch a film.. I feel like I know you so long Carina" Maya said still high on drugs

Carina laughed at her, it just felt so good to be there even though Maya was laying in the hospital.

"I think I just bring you right home" Carina winked and laughed making Maya'a mouth drop
