About ten minutes later, Eleven was sitting in front of the static TV with a blindfold on while Alex had a break. The blonde gulped down a glass of water as Eleven began breathing heavy before ripping off the blindfold.

"What's he doing now?" Max asked before the brunette explained what she saw with Billy as she went to get a glass of water.

"And that's not normal, right?" Nancy asked once Eleven explained it all.

"Billy staying in his room on the Fourth of July?" Max asked before shaking her head. "No, that's not normal."

"He wants us to find him," Will said as Alex looked at him.

"Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of," Nancy said, "if we go to Billy, then the rest of the flayed know where we are."

"It's a trap, I agree," Mike said, "we'll be ambushed."

"We won't be surprised," Lucas said, "we'll know that they're coming, and we will kick their flayed butts."

"You mean Lexie and El will kick their butts," Max said as the blonde looked at the TV.

"It's too risky," Mike said as Alex looked at him.

"Yeah, and unnecessary," Nancy added as Eleven walked into the room, "killing the flayed won't stop the Mind Flayer. We have to find out where it's spreading from. We have to find the source."

"Billy knows it," Alex said as everyone looked at her, "Billy's been there. To the source."

"Yeah, but. . . ." Mike began as Alex looked at him.

"It's a trap. I know," she said, "we can't go to Billy, but I think there's another way. A way for me to see where he's been." Alex walked over to the TV and sat in front of it. She turned it to static as she had the photo of Billy in front of her.

"Alex," Mike said, crawling down next to her as she looked at him. "I know you think you have to do this, but you don't. It's just, you've never done this before. And you could g-get hurt or something. And Billy's mind is, is sick, diseased. The Mind Flayer is in him."

"He can't hurt her," Eleven said as Alex smiled. "Not in there."

"We don't know that," Mike said as the blonde held his hand and smiled sweetly at him.

"Mike," she said, "I need you to trust me on this. You know better than to underestimate me," she joked as Mike smiled.

"I know," he said smiling, "just. . . . be careful, okay?"

"Okay," she said before letting go of his hand and allowing the red energy to take over her.

When she opened her eyes, she was back in the void. A distance away, she saw Billy sitting on his bed. She took a shuddering breath as she walked towards him slowly. Her feet were splashing her water as she got closer and closer to him. When she got about a foot away from him, she took a breath. Alex reached out her hand and held Billy's hand.

"Billy," she breathed out as it echoed around them. "Can you hear me?" Billy stayed silent. "I want to see," she said, "I want to see what happened." Billy looked up and Alex and instead of showing her, he harshly grabbed her arm, making the girl gasp in fear. "Stop!" Alex screamed, trying to get lose of Billy, "no, no! Stop! Billy!" The girl tugged on her arm, trying to break free and when she did, she let out a scream as she went flying back, holding her arms out as she stared at Billy who watched her. Alex landed on her back, but she wasn't in the void. She was on a beach.
