Mason
I sat in my office with this hallow feeling in my heart that I constantly felt especially when I was away from home but like usual I ignored it. I know the type of work that I'm in and how much it can put my family in danger and I tried my best so that nothing would happen to them.
For years I watched them grow up into the men that they are yes I may seem cruel or evil with how I raised them but I did it all to protect them so they'd stand together and be able to stand for themselves.
Flash back of a few moments after Josie was born
We were at the hospital where my wife had just delivered our healthy and beautiful baby girl and I couldn't help but fall in love with her the minute I looked at her she looked just like my wife.
I wanted to protect her with everything inside me I couldn't let anyone or anything harm my baby girl and no matter what it took I'd keep her safe no matter wat.
Her eyes looked like mine and I knew that she was my one and only Princess.
"You did so well honey our baby girl is finally here"i told my wife with the biggest smile on my face as I told her.
"M-mason where is she"her voice was weak I took in her tired state as the worry settled in me.
"She's with the doctor Il mio fiore we should call the doctor your really pale" I held her hand rubbing her circles on her hand.

"Alessandra just like your mother's name that's her middle name. Mason please do me one favor last favor my love"tears ran down my eyes something felt wrong.
What should be feeling like the greatest moment of our lives felt sad and lonely instead.
"Of course Il mio fiore" I wiped away the tears that ran down her face.

"Give them all of them the love they deserve and need even if I'm not there okay. I love you to the moon and back."To say I was confused wasn't the half of it but I knew where she was going with this.
"No I'm calling the doctor were both going to raise our children together and were both going to love them equally"I was about to leave the room hearing her already weak voice call out to me.
"Please Mase promise me to protect them no matter what happens"
"I promise La mia Regina" that's when I saw her smile
My Queen
The monitor started beeping while her body began shaking. Fear took over me i ran towards her bed first screaming for the doctor as I held my wife in my arms.
A thick white foam left her lips her body convulsing in my arms I couldn't help her
The doctors came in running with the nurses all of them wondering what was going on as they checked her pulling me off her.
I knew that I shouldn't be in there if I wanted them to help but I was selfish I didn't want to leave her I didn't want to leave the love of my life alone. I promised her to be there for her even in the moment of death I'd be here.
I didn't know if there was a God out there listening but in that moment I prayed harder than I thought I could.
With all the loud noises that was happening a sudden silence took over the room a doctor walked out I could already read his expression.
"Mr Hunter please let's go to my office"
"She's gone isn't she"I was somewhat still holding onto a hope that she was still here I'd go inside and she'd be alive just taking a nap or something of that sort
"Please let's just go to my office Sir"He led me to his office which was fancy room that just smelled like a damp dirty cloth.
We offered me a chair pulling out my wife's file and my new born babies file.
"Sir your wife is still stable for now but there is something of great concern that I'd like to address. Yes it was a risk giving birth to your daughter in your wife's condition but she delivered a healthy baby girl or so as we thought. We found a trace of poison in your wife's blood and if has affected the baby and she's in critical condition as we speak... We don't think she's going to make it so we'd like to prepare you for any outcome and we need a name just incase we have to make a birth certificate"
"My daughters a hunter she'll live no matter what and you will ensure of that or I'll end your life do you understand"
"Y-yes Sir but we do still need a name for her if you don't mind that Sir of course take your time" he was practically shaking as he spoke.
"Josephine Alessandria Rosea Hunter that's her name from now on until she live and anyone who tell you anything else will end up dead are we understood" I immediately left the office going back to my wife's ward.
I found an empty bed I checked the entire room to see where she was when a nurse walked in I had only been gone for 45 minutes.
"Where's my Wife"
"Oh sorry Sir she left with your daughter 30 minutes ago she left with a Man claiming to be your Brother" my anger fueld as I heard this.
"I looked down the corridors seeing my all of my sons sleeping on the chairs. How could she leave taking our daughter with her.
I could see a note on the floor.
My loving Mason
I'm sorry to do this too you but it has to be done to keep our daughter safe. There are dangerous men looking for her as soon as everything clears up I'll come back I promise

End of flash back
I still remember that day like it was yesterday I spent days and months trying to find them but could never locate them so I told the boys that their mother died giving birth and I gave her up for adoption because she was a problem.
I thought hate would ease the pain for them and it looked like it did. I was losing hope and fast that was uniil I was sent a video from one of my rivals as they killed and tortured my wife for hours. That was the last time I let myself cry or feel any other pain.
Until today when I just got out of the shower as I picked up my phone and got the news that shattered my heart
My baby girl was dead
