Now that Jasper's resting onto the next step, taking care of the guards honestly Minnie just served them drinks with the sleeping serum and they were completely out and they should stay like that for a few days. So we had the house all to ourselves.

We order in take out and basically had the version of a sleepover in this ridiculously big mansion. We were in the bathroom, I was sitting on the counter while she put a face mask on my face dressed in PJs while eating homemade ice cream.

"This is the best fun I've had probably in my life."she said while lightly dabbing my face.

"I could say the same thing"

"You never really did tell me about yourself Josie what was it like growing up with the hunter brothers "I know it was a harmless question but it did lightly pang my non-existant hurt.

"I didn't actually. I grew up with an abusive step father who fake his death then tried to kill me after months of me thinking he's dead. I've only lived with them a few weeks and it's was just the same hell but different locations and multiple devils well except my brother Aiden. He's been the sweetest out of all of them but they claimed to be changing and what not but I highly doubt I could ever trust a man again in my lifespan" she just hugged me tightly as soon as I was done talking.

"Well if you need anyone just know that I'm here for you and I do care about you a lot, I mean you've changed my life in a span of less than 72 hours."I hugged her back and we carried on with our day.

3 hours later

I walked into Jasper's office searching cabinets on anything and everything I could find out. Firstly I found that a file on minne and everything she told me was in the file I logged into Jasper computer his password was king Jasper it wasn't that hard to figure out.

I found the school that her son went too, I sent out a generous donation to the school and payed off any fees that needed to be payed and I wired money into her account so that she could live comfortably. Least I could do to help right.

Next the file they had on my family I deleted almost everything except one file someone I didn't expect to see my father. It was a articles on how he wasn't the action boss of the cartel.

Hm would have thought there would be an article page for the mafia. But why would their engagement be so sudden, grandfather doesn't seem keen on arranged marriages so why rush it? I mean yes I had a theory but how far fetched would it be. It's either dad is one cruel sociopath I mean he is if he was able to take our his entire family and move on so quickly but something tells me it wasn't him. He's too much of a coward to actually do it even if he's a dick it would have to be someone who's mind was more cunning and vicious

My eyes moved to the second computer seeing someone on the screen arriving with a tinted out car they walk to the back gate almost as if this was a routine. I logged out of everything all at once. I called Minnie at once and told her to stay of the way and to basically be a ghost until I told it was safe. I looked around the room and I found a good place to hide where I could see the person walk in if they came here but they wouldn't see me.

I mean who would come see someone like Jasper isn't he like stupid of something I mean yes he's part of the mafia but he's a kid who just acts like a bulky to everyone around him. That's why he's feared not because of who he is but because they know bullies aren't fun and are hard to maintain especially if that bully has a gun and enjoys hurting you. I had a small knife in my pocket and the syringe because I'm not killing anyone just yet not because I'm scared to no, I want to find the joy in torture first. They did make me live with a deranged man for most of my childhood maybe he rubbed of on me.

The person walked in and it was silent

"Jasper hunny I know you're mad about what I did last time I was here but the silent treatment really isn't a good look for us"the voice was sickeningly sweet.

I guess but just as I suspected she fell for it.

I stepped out of my hiding place before I put her in a headlock as she was taken aback, I didn't waste time in using the syringe she looked at me with pure shock and denial.

"Good night Mommy"
