Percy's POV

After a few hours of using Iris messages to spy on the gods, I went to my forges to take out my anger on somebody. The gods were already assaulting my forces and destroying monsters and demigods that were converted to my will. I had realized how many demigods had been born in the 10 years of my absence when I saw the thousands of half-bloods camping outside my stronghold. I knew that I would soon be attacked, so I decided to engage them first. Groups of 100 monsters would attack the gods every day, but only few returned. Though I lose much of my minions, the demigods lose their strength as well. Anyways, in the smithies, my minions were doing their duties and crafting weapons. One monster, however, was sitting down. It looked very tired and weary. I killed it instantly, for it was disobeying me and not working. The other monsters began to work faster and better now that they saw their dead friend's body crumble away. "This is what happens when you disobey me!" I shouted at them. I left the smithies and gathered a group of monsters. "Ready yourselves, for we are going to war."

Poseidon's POV

I watched as the gates of Perseus had begun to slowly open. All demigods were at ready, with the exception of the wounded ones, and wielded weapons of celestial bronze. The gates had now fully opened, and monsters were pouring out. Darkness radiated out of the fortress, and the dark lord himself stepped out. Perseus Jackson wielded a sword strong enough to destroy the creator himself. He pointed forwards, and arrows surged forth and killed many demigods. The army of the gods ran to intercept Perseus and his forces. "If you believe that you can destroy me, then come on and face a fate worse than death!" The dark lord exclaimed. I killed a nearby drakon with ease. "If you believe that, Perseus, then you shall meet the fate of death," Athena growled, "Now return my daughter to me!" "Nah, I have had much fun with her and plan to continue torturing her," Perseus said. Athena threw her spear at the lord of darkness. Perseus simply dodged it. The 2 immortals began to fight each other. I felt a sharp pain in my leg and realized I had been staring at the fight. I turned to see the dark eyes of Nico Di Angelo. A stygian iron sword was plunged in my left leg. I picked up my sword and attacked the son of Hades. Nico eventually returned to his master's fortress, for he had gotten bored of beating me up. I continued to fight monsters and dark demigods till I gave in and went to the camp.

Percy's POV

The wisdom goddess's fighting was pathetic. She tried to scare me off with her medusa shield, but all her attempts failed. Athena tried to impale me with her spear, but she accidently stabbed a demigod behind me. I kicked the dam goddess in the face. She cursed at me and rose her spear. I took the chance to decapitate the goddess, and her head thudded upon the ground. I smashed her head open with my sword. The minotaur went past me and smashed a daughter of Hephaestus in the head. I gave a look of triumph and killed a mere demigod. I then called to my greatest monster to end the fight.

Poseidon's POV

The dark gate of Perseus opened once more, and 2 glowing red eyes opened. A drakon easily the size of a horizontal skyscraper stepped out of the darkness. Its skin was as dark as the inside of a black hole, and its teeth were as sharp as a brand-new knife. The drakon opened its mouth and fire spewed out, burning demigods to ashes. I looked around and realized that only a few hundred demigods remained. "Fall back!" I shouted. I then saw that my army was surrounded by monsters. The drakon stepped forth and smashed Apollo. I then grabbed all the remaining demigods and flashed away from Egypt.

Percy's POV

Dam. The cowardly demigods had left and returned to Olympus. That was honestly the easiest battle I had ever participated in. I chuckled quietly whilst thinking about Athena's pathetic fight that led to her decapitation. The wounded demigods at the temporary camp made by the gods were all executed, and the demigods who hadn't escaped with Poseidon were executed as well. Unfortunately, only 2 major gods had been killed. Apollo and Athena had both fallen. I ran my hand through my hair in frustration. Why was it so hard to simply destroy weak deities? I sighed and fell upon my bed, falling asleep instantly. My dreams were of the Olympians once again. They were helping demigods train and practice, as if they were preparing to defend Olympus. Poseidon was stumbling around like a mad man, and he was barking out orders at demigods and gods. Half-Bloods were positioned in all the roads I planned to attack. I then awoke. The gods knew of my intentions to attack them, so I would have to come up with something different. "Dam," I whispered.
