Part 35

Hi Mum,

Sorry I didn't properly sign off last time I wrote. That was rude.

I've never experienced anything like this school before. The kids tell their parents every minute of their day. And the parents don't just listen, they want to play, through their kids. They play children's games and move their kids around the place and make them say things and do things. Like you move a pawn around a chessboard.

I can see and hear I'm in their game. The parents' game. Gigli's mum is watching me from the teacher's corner under the school portico. She never moves from her spot where she can watch me all of recess. But how do you play against the parents? Do I have to win? I just want to survive.

Have you ever been in one of those games, mum?

Love

Z
