With one look, Nathaniel knew something was on her mind, he'd seen numerous expressions of (Y/n); focused, deep in thought, dazed, happy, frustrated. He'd drew a few here and there though as the red head glanced at (Y/n), her eyesbrows furrowed, eyes clouded by worry, while her chin sat on her hands just staring at the work straight ahead. He could see how her eyes were slightly darting back and forth as a million thoughts ran through her mind, her stress high which was as clear as her clenched jaw.

"(Y/n), what's wrong? You've been different."

"You ever thought about the heroes? Like the people beneath the mask?" (Y/n) asked, as much as she loved being around Nathaniel and hanging out with him, her mind couldn't help but wonder to Alya's video. Watching as Ladybug try to lasso the stray helicopter only to get dragged behind and in the midst of the chaos, she made a fatal mistake. At first, (Y/n) wondered how in the world Ladybug was able to store the textbook on herself considering the costume didn't have any pockets of sorts. And then, her worries began to skyrocket, thinking of all the what if's, especially seeing Alya meticulously observing all the girls in their class.

Sure, (Y/n) was doing her own investigations into the matter and after taking a second look, it was easy to narrow down who she guessed were Ladybug and Cat Noir. Maybe they were just assumptions based on everything she looked at or maybe there was truth behind it but (Y/n) wasn't typically wrong about her guesses. Of course it would be something she kept to herself, after all it wasn't her secret to tell.

But now with this video out there, anyone could put the pieces together, spill the beans, and that would just be disaster. For her and them.

"Not really, I do look up to them though. They are some of the bravest people I could think of." Nathaniel said, though seeing (Y/n)'s expression, there was something more to the question. "Why are you concerned with it?"

"Well, think about it like this. If everyone knew who Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Artemis Fawn are really, then what good will they be able to do? People will be obessed with them, it would be easy for the villains to target their family or friends, any superhero movie can tell you that."

"I guess but I'm sure they would figure it out. It might not even come to that."

"I certainly hope so. I think Paris would be doomed without them." (Y/n) sighed, wondering if she was just overthinking and worrying about nothing. As rookie as Ladybug and Cat Noir were, they were resourceful, Ladybug especially. She might figure something out to prevent this from becoming any bigger. "Well, I feel like I've been a stick in the mud. Let's go check something out."

(Y/n) jumped up from the bench, extending her hand to Nathaniel. Though hesitating for a moment, Nathaniel happily took it, letting (Y/n) led them down the halls of the Lourve. And he really hoped his hand wasn't too sweaty considering this was the first he had ever held hands with a girl, and that girl just so happened to be (Y/n) of all people.

"I saw it online and the exhibit looked really cool. You might be able to use it as some references for your drawings." Nathaniel couldn't help but smile for a number of reasons: 1) He was beyond glad to see her back to normal self and 2) It warmed his heart to see how supportive she was of his hobby. Most people would often pester Nathaniel about seeing his works, others would even snatch away his journal while (Y/n) never questioned his boundaries. She let him do what he wanted or show her when it was time. Or she would drag him a few places that were always great references for his drawings. Nathaniel really wondered how he was able to have her in his life. "Here it is. Egyptians made some stunning objects not to mention the hierogyphics are pretty cool to look at from the symbols to the illustrations. Maybe they'll give you some inspiration."

"I'm sure they will." Nathaniel muttered, his cheeks painted pink as his hand already began scribbling away. Though it wasn't what (Y/n) was thinking.

"Hey, (Y/n), what are you doing here?" A familiar voice echoed through the halls, catching (Y/n)'s attention as her gaze fell on the best friends. Glancing at Nathaniel and seeing him focused on his craft, she walked over to the girls.
