"You promised Cwele! You fucken promised! Just us four, why did you have to get Refiloe involved"

"I know damnit! I fucken know! But they got her now and we know she'll sing like a canary, we're good as dead. Hide everyone you love. I'm sorry Thandeka just hide, god bless us all" Cwele says before hanging up

Fuck!

Honestly everything was going well before this Lesedi bitch got in the picture
Somehow she's managed to get everything and everyone compromised without even trying.
As much as I never saw myself as an undercover FIC agent, I was beginning to enjoy it.
I remember the day she came for an interview, she looked like the kind the Mzimelas would bed but never take seriously, her face was too innocent and she was timid.
Little did I know that not only would she get the job as Nsizwa's assistant but after rejecting calls and offers, they doubled the salary I get paid and had her replace me as Zigi's and Phakamile's assistant as well

I was moved to the marketing department placed at a different building altogether.
They placed me there as a department assistant, with no access to the networks, files and their movements, making it it harder to get inside information about the 'network' and businesses the brothers and their associates were into.

If they have Refiloe, we're all screwed, she's the best investigative psychologist/ Profiler of our time and when she got called to be part of the team investigating the Mzimela's and their associates, she declined the offer and even resigned from the public protectors office

Mr Cwele in his desperate bid to win her over told her about me being the undercover agent on the case amongst other things and now they have her.

My poor sister Lerato got me this job through her husband, because I had been sitting at home since graduating 2 years ago
As luck would have it, months after woking at MH holdings, I secured another interview at FIC.
I went because they were offering slightly more and the job was in line with my qualification so I figured why not.

It was all very normal until I mentioned where I was currently working, they seemed too fascinated with the brothers and the new venture that Nsizwa was going to head, not bothering to ask anything relating to me, the job or my qualification for that matter.
I left convinced it was a waste of time but then 2 days later I got called back but at a different location
I was skeptical yes but for some reason, it peaked my interest and I found myself driving to Pretoria.
Things were different from the moment I stepped out of the car, I felt like a celebrity, they were 2 nicely dressed and good smelling ladies who welcomed me in.
I had applied for Relationship specialist so I was surprised when they took me back to the underground parking to enter the 'special' elevator that took us to the highest floor
I was greeted by the police commissioner, the public protector and judge Zulu.

"We realise that this is unathodoxed but these people are not only a menace but also a threat to society, the whole country if you must. You'll be doing your country a huge service and you'll get paid for 2 jobs, all you have to do is report any suspicious activities, let us know who and where they meet these global associates. It's not hard"

"It sounds easy enough, but I'm not sure they trust me with that kind of information yet, as it is they hired me as a favour to their friend"

"Make them trust you, we've been investigating them for 3 years now so we're not expecting you to come with a bag full of files by tomorrow. Just ease yourself in and eventually this kind of information will fall into your lap" Mr Cwele said

"I signed an NDA with them, how protected am I if this goes burst?"

"No one but us in this room know about the mission, just us four and it'll stay that way until we die, all you have to do is carry on with life as normal. We'll deposit your earnings into an account not under your name in case Danso still investigates everyone for fun. Nothing will lead back to you not even when we make the findings public" Buhle, the public protector says
