"Nice working with you Ms. James. You have a great day." I said before ending the call with a new client
I sat back in my chair, grinning from ear to ear. I had just closed the biggest deal this company has had in years. Go me!
I debated on whether or not I should call Mekai, considering the fact he's on a whole new journey of finding himself again. I don't want to be selfish and boast about my accomplishments right now. It's like he's happy, but not satisfied because he knows he could've done so much more. I hate seeing him battle with himself, especially since he has a hard time with expressing when he needs help.
I was snapped out of my thoughts by a knock on my office door.
"Come in"
Mr. Williams entered with a smirk on his face. "Good afternoon Kyla."
"Afternoon Mr.-"
"How many times have we gone over this? Call me Sean, please." He closed my door
"Did you need something?" I ignored what he said
"Yes actually. I need you to look up an old client's files for me."
"What's wrong with your computer?"
"My service seems to be down." He walked behind my chair "The client's name is Jessica Marlow."
I tried to hide my annoyance as I typed in the name. "What did you want to know exactly?"
He leaned in closer, breathing directly over my shoulder "What year did she leave us?"
"It says here 2020." I scooted my chair away from him
I felt him get closer "Hmm, really?"
"Yes, is that all?"
"Yeah just- mmm." He moaned in my ear, while licking my face
"What the fuck!" I pushed him away and stood up
When I turned to face him, his dick was out.
"Aw come on, you were enjoying it." He continued rubbing himself
"You need to get the hell out before I call security"
"Baby, I'm your boss. I can do what I want" He moaned "Just come touch it."
"Not to me you can't." I reached in my draw, grabbing my taser
He stopped his actions and began walking toward me "Kyla, it's just a little excitement."
"I will fry yo dick with 1,200 volts of electricity. How's that for excitement?"
He quickly put himself back in his pants "I need you to get your belongings and leave or I'll have security escort you out." With that being said, he left my office
I held back my frustration before I caused a scene, I know a more clever way to handle this situation. So instead of crying, I did as told- gathered my belongings and left.

"Babiesss I'm home." I announced as I walked in the living room
I didn't get a response, so I sat my things down and went in the kitchen. They weren't in there so I checked the rooms. Once I saw now no one was home, I gave Mekai a call. He answered one the third ring.
"Where y'all at?"
"I told you I was taking them to the park. You didn't get my text?"
"No, I'm just looking at my phone." I scrolled through my texts, seeing his message "Oh yeah, I see. Aww are they having fun?" I pressed the FaceTime button, wanting to see my babies
"Yeah, they won't play with the other kids though." He chuckled showing me Kason and Kacey playing all by themselves
"My poor antisocial babies" I laughed
"They get it from you. What you doing home?" He glanced at the camera, then put his focus back on the twins
"I'll tell you when you get here."
"Everything ok?"
"Yes baby. Enjoy your outing with the babies. I'm gonna get dinner started."
"You sure?" He had a concerned look on his face
I didn't want to tell him now because I know he'd be pissed and probably go off, so I'll hold off until they're home safely.
"Baby I'm fine, I swear. See y'all when you get here."
"Ok, love you."
"Love you too." I ended the call and changed into my house clothes then went to get dinner started
In my mind, I was making plans to call the CEO of the company later and also send them the little video I took of Sean's junkie ass doing coke in the office.
* 1 hour later
"Babyyy." Mekai called as I heard the front door close
I closed the oven and went to help him with the twins. I took Kacey from him while he held a snoring Kason. We laid them on the couch and got them out of their jackets and shoes to be more comfortable.
"I see they had fun." I walked into the kitchen
"Yeah, now tell me what's up with work." He followed
"Ok, but you gotta' promise to let me handle the situation myself."
He gave me a blank stare, signaling me to continue.
"My boss pulled his penis out and tried to make me touch him. He said if I didn't he'd fire me, so...yeah I got fired."
"The fuck? Oh hell nah."
"Kai, I got the situation under control." I placed my hands on his shoulders
"Nah. He took it too fuckin' far."
"Look at me." I turned his face toward mine "I have it under control."
"Man, let me beat that nigga ass bro'." I saw his jaw clench
"I got something better." I grabbed my phone, showing him the videos I took of Sean doing drugs
"Tuh, fuckin' junkie." He watched "So who you gone show this to?"
"The CEO of the company." The oven dinged, signaling the rolls were done
"A'Ight. I'ma let you handle it. But if you need my help you already know wassup."
"Yes baby, I know you got me." I pecked his lips
He gripped my butt and kissed me a little longer. "Always and forever."
"Likewise, baby fatha'." I grinned "You ready to eat?"
"Yeah. Can I have you for dessert?"
"Of course my love." I blushed as I began making his plate
I kept dinner simple with fried salmon, baked Mac and cheese, yams, and broccoli. I decided to let him enjoy his food while I went and woke the twins up for dinner.
